Pawlenty would be a boring choice...I thought it was said that McCain would surprise us with his VP pick. Mitt would be a surprise, but Palin would be the prize. Game set match...we win.

Our VP candidate must be able to refute the Biden lies in their debate. Cantor did a terrible job on a rat show. I don't know enough about Pawlenty to comment on his skills as a debater.

Mitt Romney can and will hold his own with Biden and score points.

The two main jobs for a VP in an administration is to break a tie vote in the senate and watch over the health of his President.

A VP does not make policy. I will be pleased if McCain selects Romney. In fact I pray he will. After McCain makes his choice I will still vote McCain.

>>>>>If McCain picks that charlatan as the VP, then we’ve all got a lot bigger problems than anything I can change.

Great answer. MegaDitto.

I thought Pawlenty has canceled all of his appointments for the forseeable future.

I just canceled my appointments and there was someone in a suit looking through my trash. But seriously, what better way to mess with the dims than have some guy on the short list who won't be the vp change his schedule just in time for Obamasiah to mention it in his speech?

Mitt is the only one that can handle Plugs. OTOH, if Plugs attacked Palin....the backlash would be felt all the way to Alaska.

The idea that Mitt is a terrible debater is simply not true. Mitt during the debates is what swayed me to his side. I voted Huck in the primaries only because Mitt was out and I’m not a McCain fan. However Saddleback has warmed me more to McCain.

I heard the same thing, that Pawlenty has cleared his entire schedule beginning immediately.

Hmmmm. It could mean something is up. Either that or he really needs a lot of rest.

So, Romney is worse than an Obama Presidency?

Obsessed Romney haters care more about perpetuating their hatred of Romney than they do about keeping America out of the hands of terror loving socialists like Obama/Biden.

It's insanity from the 'right', pure and simple.

And I do mean simple.

I hope your right.

I just hope Obummer and McCain aren't in a competition to see who can pick the most boring running mate!

I can respect principled opposition. What the Romney-haters are doing is completely irrational and not worthy of respect.

This is what I said about Romney in post # 103.

I don't understand what you posted to me versus what I said about Romney.

The evangs think they won with the Romney snub but he’s likely be the Savior in 2012 when the country will be crying for a quick end to the One’s Reign of Terror. Its God’s plan. :)

Truthfully, I was not a big McCain supporter and I am still not, however we are living in dangerous times. Obambi makes me nervous on many levels.

Given that, I have abandoned the esoteric and have gravitated towards the common sense approach. If McCain can hold the wall in these dangerous times, then I am there. Who he picks for VP seems not to matter at this point, holding the wall does, because truthfully, if the wall is not held our arguments don't matter one damn bit.

So, I will do what I have to do, and yes, I am not voting for someone, I am voting against someone, but I do so with a clear conscience.

I love my country, and I will not be a part of giving it over to the left. Not now, not ever.

Regards,
AR

Hunter would be the guy to help unite the entire Republican party. McCain getting the moderates and Republicans, with Hunter pulling in the Conservatives and small ‘l’ libertarians.
