Al Jazeera English broadcast today from the Buffalo Rose, an Old West biker bar in downtown Golden, a small city near Denver.
Golden is a charming place. Clear Creek runs through it, and supplies the gigantic Coors Brewery with the water it turns into Colorado’s most famous beer. Golden is also known as the home of the Colorado School of Mines. Their athletic teams’ symbol is a miner’s donkey.

What gives with this? This isn’t the colorado I knew, that one would never tolerate AJ in one of their towns.
Not much of a “biker” bar. The biker bars I’ve been to wouldn’t tolerate this crap.The al jazeera people would have gotten the living s&%t kicked out of them.
Many of today’s “biker bars” are visited by your dentist, your accountant, etc. Not really likely types to beat any sense into anyone.
How true. Change isn’t always a good thing.
