The Democrat-controlled congress has a dirty little secret.
The Democrats are saying that John McCain "votes with Bush ninety percent of the time'. Well guess what? I'd am willing to bet that since 2006 when they took over, the DEMOCRAT-RUN CONGRESS HAS VOTED WITH BUSH MORE THAN 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME!!!!!
This is fairly easy to prove, voting with Bush should mean that congress voted for bills that Bush signed. To my knowledge, Bush has only vetoed a couple of bills that congress has submitted, but congress has passed almost all the bills Bush has demanded. (appreciate any help with exact stats here) Bush has had his way with this congress on almost every front, but especially with the war on terror.
So, if Obama/Biden use the same voting criteria the used against John McCain, the first order of business for the "Change We Can Believe In" ticket is to sweep the Democratic leadership from power in the both the House and the Senate!!! Really!!!
The public would resoundingly approve, since about 90% of the public does not approve of the way congress is doing business under the current leadership.
But let's not forget about a couple of players on the fringe, namely Barack Obama and Joe Biden. These two guys live on the fringe of the radical left and are the most out-of-touch radical-liberal ticket in the history of the Democrat Party. John McCain doesn't need to defend voting with Bush ninety percent of the time when he can attack these two guys' records.
John McCain has taken on the system more effectively than our current Democrat congress ever has. He has been an agent of change it over and over again, but he is no radical! We can have meaningful change without the likes of radicals like Obama and Biden.
Can we get rid of the Democrats in the Republican party too?
It certainly is CHANGE that would provide HOPE!
“CHANGE?” We were promised “CHANGE” in ‘06 if we would only give congress to the dims, and WE GOT IT!! “Change” from 2.22 a gallon for gas, to 4.30. “CHANGE” from gaining jobs, to LOSING. “CHANGE” from groceries that cost about 100 bucks a month less than now. We already got “CHANGE”, at least the dimo brand. I cant afford any more “CHANGE.”
I’d like to see the Republican talk a LOT about the failed Democrat-led Congress nest week, including McCain.
Do they have the guts to go against the Media? Do they have the fortitude to defend themselves, and Bush?
The rise in gas prices and the downturn in the economy has occurred under the Pelosi/Reid regime. Envirowacko policies, government mandates and oppressing regulations have put our country in this perceived energy “crisis.”
Will the Republicans cater to the Mindless Middle or talk about common sense, conservative solutions?
I expect that that will be a major theme over the next two months. It didn’t do any good to hit the RATS before now because most of the voters haven’t been paying any attention.
