The election was so close, I don’t know if anyone can say that Johnson helped or hurt Lincoln’s chances. He could have won more votes or lost completely with someone else.

On the other side, Johnson made a lousy President, making a mess of things in the south.

Hmm.. I thought the worst pres was Carter....

Neither of the Johnsons were any good in my book, but Andrew was always the one singled out as being the worst President and this was justified because for well over a century he was the only President who had been impeached.

I would like to nominate the traitor, rapist and impeached POTUS William Jefferson Clinton as the worst President ever. His gift of missile and guidance technology to the Red Chinese in exchange for illegal campaign contributions is a gift that will keep on giving, placing our country in grave danger for many generations to come. This is nothing less than TREASON and he should stand trial for these acts.
