"Dems say Palin is 'risky,' could be a disaster"

McCain's choice of Sarah Palin is a total, unprecedented disaster of the first magnitude for obamassa and bidet. I will guess that after about a week, bidet will resign his candidacy "for the good of women and motherhood", whatever, so the obamassa can pick either a woman or hillary.

I am sure we will be seeing alot of that because of the NRA issue but also the image of her being “tough<>P> It is not just about her being "tough", she is commander in chief of the Alaskan National guard, she has visited them in Kuwait and she has also visited wounded soldiers in the hospital in Germany where Obamaosama wouldn't go without his photo op people tagging along.

The shooting pictures are probably her in Kuwait with her Alaskan unit.

This is another aspect the dems are forgetting(on purpose no doubt)in their storm of criticisms today, she has more military experience than obamaosama and Biden combined.

Here in South Carolina our own James Clyburn is a big fish in a little pond - his House district is so gerrymandered that people on different sides of the same street are in different districts. Clyburn can win reelection from here to kingdom come without a single white vote. And he won’t get any, because his attitude toward white voters is, “now it’s your turn to ride in the back of the bus!”

Alaska isn’t the only state to have its own `bridge to nowhere’. Clyburn has pushed building a five mile long causeway in the Lowcountry that connects nothing to nothing, not even access to interstate. Here in Columbia he had built a pedestrian overpass so ornate (emblazoned with his name) that it only cost slightly less than the Golden Gate bridge.

In short, for all this and as head of the Congressional Black Caucus, James Clyburn thinks he’s G-d and what he says, goes.

Anyway, Governor Palin is a superb individual and a superb choice by John Mccain. IMHO, Obama is toast in November.

A leading House Democrat said Friday John McCain's choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is a "risky" move that could ultimately prove disastrous to the Republican prospects in November.

Reminds me of Emperor Hirohito's admission that “The war has developed not necessarily to Japan's advantage.”

Let’s do our part to MAKE it a disaster for the dems.

Go to http://www.johnmccain.com/ right now and donate as much as you can. Evry dollar you give is one more bucket the democrats are going to have to bail out of their sinking ship.

In the space where you write who referred you, write “Sarah Palin”.

The next President of the United States of America will be a Republican. Look ye journalists upon thy future and despair! :-)
:::::::::
Agree for sure. The blind, arrogant, dictatorial socialists of the left have really outsmarted themselves. Their rabid pursuit of power caused them to suffer from terminal myopia and McCain just simply stepped over the goal line, and scored. It was not difficult. In fact, it was not really a fair fight considering the fact that the apparent two best candidates that the radical left could come up with were and are absolutely pathetic as well as so dangerous, a high school student could spot it.

I must say I have had some of my faith in McCain restored.

If it’s so risky and such a disaster, then why are they worried and going on and on about it? They should congratulate her, smile, and move on if that is how they truly feel, but it obviously isn’t.

They are so clearly worried and doing everything they can to define her and take away the sting.

In an issued statement, Sen. Chuck Schumer said Palin is significantly mismatched to Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden and said the prospect of her becoming president is "troubling."

Interesting that the party of Truman would be troubled over the selection of Sarah Palin.

“Why can’t we concede that Palin is indeed pretty inexperienced for this job but still support her because her stances on the issues outweigh that?”

She has good executive experience for a President, as governor. That is the normal standard. I would say she has better experience than McCain. I consider executive experience more important than foreign policy experience. Foreign policy decisions require a lot of expert input from the military, CIA, and State Department. The President makes the final decision.

Let's consider some of our great Presidents’ experience. Washington—Military general. Executive experience. Jefferson—diplomatic experience, genius IQ. Lincoln—NO international experience, NO executive experience—just a lawyer and a legislator. Teddy Roosevelt—military, governor of NY, secretary of Navy (I think)—lots of executive experience, some international. Ronald Reagan—8 years as governor—that's it. No international experience. Who defeated the Ruskies in the cold war?

So two of our greatest five Presidents had no international experience. So why is that so important? I think character and actual accomplishment are more important. Sarah Palin has both in spades.

Yesterday, one of the news folks or dem operatives said they were looking forward to some high-ranking journalism think tanks to review sexism in the news media, based on how Hillary was treated by the press during her run. I wonder if those calls for studies and investigations will now be tabled since Gov. Palin is on the ticket. Would be difficult for a study to condemn the media for Hillary’s treatment but excuse them for Gov. Palin’s.
