NObama can't boot Scrappy, the lovable scamp. Action like that will resound with "Me Too!" -ism. It would be seen as a not-too-well camouflaged effort to mimic McCain.
No, if anything, Biden will resign his position of the Dim ticket due to "threat of another Aneurysm", "Complications from previous Aneurysm". But even that dredges up nightmares of 1972 and the Eagleton affair.

And I’ve noticed that the pick of Sarah Palin has really energized John McCain, he seems like a different man now, no more mumbling and all that, like the fire in the belly went up or something.
