Alan Colmes has been on a downward spiral for the ages since John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his presumptive Vice-Presidential nominee.
Fellow NewsBuster Warner Todd Huston caught Colmes scraping bottom at his Liberaland web site last night, as the lefty talker and Sean Hannity piñata asked "Did Palin Take Proper Pre-Natal Care?" in connection with Palin's pregnancy and childbirth earlier this year. Trig Palin was born with Down's Syndrome on April 18.
whiff of sanity appears to have prevailed, as the entry is now empty. Also not present: an apology. (Update, 3:30 p.m. -- Here's Colmes's "apology." You can decide whether it's adequate or simply blame-shifting.)
But apparently Colmes has no problem with this entry he put up on Friday afternoon about the circumstances surrounding Todd and Sarah Palin's wedding (full entry follows; links were in original):

Governor Palin has already said that they eloped because of the enormous costs of staging a wedding. In Alaska, those costs are even higher. Besides, I think that Sarah and Todd were also trying to cut down on the size of their “carbon footprint.” Take that and shove it Colmes.

Well, of course Colmes would consider it scandalous that a couple would elope if they found out they were pregnant. The only proper choice that he would support would be aborting the ‘inconvient’ child...
That’s pretty funny esp. when you consider half the liberals out there have children (via whatever means) and never got married. But as always for them it’s different.

Oh please, we’re not living prior to the 50’s. Eloping no longer has the past connotation of what a couple does to get married without their parents permission.
Good grief. I thought pre-marital, extra-marital and whatever sex was a staple of the RAT environment. As if Sarah and Todd (or anybody else for that matter) would be the first people in history to have anticipated their marriage vows.
Alan Colmes is so unattractive and so clueless--who does he have kin to him in media who gave him a job--or who did he blackmail into giving him one?
I have never been able to understand how he got on with Hannity. However, since he is the ditzy lib, he does make a good foil for handsome Hannity, the (mostly) conservative.
