While Maia is certainly entitled to her feelings, this link, to a biased, self-indulgent, narcissist web site, is not a "news" story and does not belong on AOL as such.

One place to complain is here: http://notify.aol.com/ui_front/jsp/notify_about_notify.jsp

Maybe Freepers can find other AOL contacts too.

“Exactly what does a vice president do?” is a rhetorical question, of course. The answer is “not much”, which is my only concern for her; this is a woman who is used to doing things. She’s way overqualified for the job.

It’s under the title, “Get To Know McCain’s Running Mate.”

AOL, that force in American media that nobody notices? The company now owned by a corporation that began as a mob-owned chain of parking garages in Jersey?

I see.

This vile says everything about the left and even more about Sarah: she is the greatest threat EVER to their brand of “feminism.”

Here’s the full “what does the VP do anyway” quote. ““But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.” Please, do let’s make this a national issue.

i used to love aol. i would call them 10 times a day to request service. each time i called, they would send me 5-7 floppies which i immediately reformatted and used to store data. it’s too bad they won’t send a flash drive to you these days to install their cr@p these days. :^)

Does the author know what a Vice President does? Probably not, but the author’s function is to lecture us on how dumb other people are.

I tried using them as coasters-wanted to collect the an entire set, but condensation kept seeping through the hole in the middle.

“she is the greatest threat EVER to their brand of “feminism.””

Exactly like Clarence Thomas was to the “black establishment”. Wise move by McCain to shift the focus from his age, to her “inexperience”, since the debate now will be between Palin and the messiah of hope.

Ann Coulter with experience in elective office.

What is not to love about this woman? Her attractive demeanor, majestic as it is, is tempered with real-life experiences that would humble most keyboard and armchair warriors. Telegenic, quick with the TelePrompTer and unafraid (how else to explain the hair styling?), she is definitely NOT Hillary Clinton. Sarah Palin was chosen, not to appeal to the Democrat women (a fool’s errand in any event, for whom NO Republican could ever be “adequate”), but to remind independent and Republican women where their interests were better protected.

But the real target was male voteres of all political beliefs. Even if they could not possibly match Gov. Palin in any competition, they would still gallantly lay down their cape for her to step to the ground.

Sometimes men are so easy.
