Actually, McCain did call out the Obama campaign for the smears. He wouldn’t have done that if he didn’t have proof.

The left (together with the DBM) is really good at controlling commonly used language. Of course most people think that it means nothing is taught but abstinence. Maybe Gov. Palin will be able to educate the ignorant on this topic also.
