Well, I'd take 4 more years of the Bush/Cheney over either ticket, but that's just me.

Did they really feel that way, or it's only the author's wishful thinking? In any case, Bush will come and give speech tonight...

Not just you, but any sane American.
To: paudio
Likely he found one or two folks and extrapolated it to the entire convention. Bet you both Bush and Cheney get serious ovations.

Bush will come and give speech tonight... Actually, he's speaking via satellite. He won't be there in person.

This is a load of crap. Mary Matalin looked amused last night when Alan “the fly” Colmes coughed up this analytical hairball. She said the convention delegates are people who love the President and don’t think of Dick Cheney as Darth Vader and just wish he could run again so they could vote for him.

The media is hostile to Bush and Cheney, no matter what they do, and unfortunately quite a few people have no political opinion beyond what they are spoon-fed by the MSM. The left hates Bush and the MSM is feeding their worst delusions, but history will be kind to him in a few years. He just has to endure whatever insults they are heaping on him and not let them detract him from finishing his few remaining months in office.

I find it hard to believe. Am sure is just MSM spin.
It would be craven not to want Bush and Cheney in Minn.

Replay 1988, The media HATED Ronald Reagan, and tried to portray him as the "Worst President, Ever."
History (and reality) had a much different judgement. Even those who were appalled by the line "tear down this wall" have been forced to admit Reagan was right.
Bush is no Reagan and there is much that I can find to disagree with him. However, the performance of the economy has been far better than media reporting would allow, and the execution of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, even allowing for the missteps, will be studied as exemplars of successful campaigns in war colleges centuries from now.

It’s not just you; I feel the same. But since we can’t have 4 more years, the McCain/Palin ticket is the way to go.

LOL!

note that MSM never mentions the approval rating of congress, and certainly never connects it to the party and people running congress.
Let me do it, it is simple: congress 9% approval, Democrats, Barark Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid.
