Reader Monica M. sent me a link to the Democratic Underground’s latest thread for commenters to come up with nicknames and posters to slime GOP Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin — and then to “spread [them] all over the ‘net.” There are now nearly 100 filthy, hate-filled responses and counting. Among the “nicer” entries: “Cruella,” “Gidget,” “Governor Jesus Camp,” “VPILF,” “Fertilla the Huntress,” “Iditabroad,” and “KILLER PYSCHO FUNDIE BITCH FROM HELL!!”
The link should have come with a blood pressure warning. These people make Palin-bashing prenatal care expert Alan Colmes look like a saint.
Peer with me further into the liberal sinkhole again and behold P.D.S. in full bloom. Note that this site is raising money for Barack Obama and that an ad for their fundraiser appears at the top of the thread. Is Obama going to accept their cash? Know your enemy:

Words are important. Symbols are important, and we need to all get together on a cute nickname for Sarah. I’m not so clever with nicknames, but people that are please place your suggestions here. After I have enough I’ll post a poll.
Someone called her “Caribou Barbie” which I thought was pretty good. But I honestly feel we need a poll to vote for the best suggestion, and we can then all use it. Perhaps it could spread all over the ‘net.

I think that “Fertilla the Huntress” is kinda cool. The simple fact is that she could kick the butt of just about any of the twits at the DUmp.
Actually I thought the same thing. Considering it's the DUmmies I bet that was the least viscious they could get. Funny thing is it is really pi$$ing off some of the feminists (PUMA).

I like Caribou Barbie and could live with Gidget. The left actually find out to their dismay that she is a killer psycho b*tch from h*ll if they keep attacking her family. She doesn’t strike me as a shrinking violet and neither does her husband. And after listening to Cindy McCain on Stephies’s show Sunday I wouldn’t want to tick her off either.

Whatever the intent, “VPILF,” “Fertilla the Huntress,” “Iditabroad” and “Caribou Barbie” don’t seem like putdowns (or is it puts-down?) to me. Maybe it’s a guy thing.
So....This is a woman who is a lifelong member of the NRA, who commands a large, heavily armed force of people (the Alaska National Guard), and who gets up at 3am to go Big-Game Hunting for fun.... And reporters are going to attack her family?
Might want to rethink that move.....
