Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich did what conservatives have been waiting for someone to do since Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's running mate: take on someone in the media claiming that she lacks the qualifications to be vice president.
Such marvelously occurred Tuesday evening on the convention floor in St. Paul when MSNBC's Ron Allen said to the former Speaker, "But to be fair, her resume is not something we're familiar seeing with presidential candidates."
This didn't sit well with Gingrich who strongly replied

oh ya, that was good. it shows the weasle runing away.
This is how it’s done.
NEWT ROCKS. Newt shows the GOP how to grow a pair.
But, in the past day or two, Obama has come up with the answer (at least he thinks so) to refute charges that he has no executive experience. He says he’s managed his own campaign for more than a year, all that money and all those people.
Now if that’s not high powered executive experience, what is?
Newt was great and Allen was speechless. Classic.
The return of the Newt that I loved and respected...
BOOM! BAWHAHAHAHAHHA priceless
Obama has done one thing.
he was born a poor black man...well sort of...
I think we should start a watercooler game using this quote as a model:
In response to any denigration or adverse comparison made by a co-worker, liberal, or neophyte, you merely answer as Newt would:
Our _________ has a stronger resume Barack Obamas. I dont know why you guys walk around saying this baloney. ________ has a stronger resume than Obama. Our ________ meets a payroll every two weeks - Obama has never done that. Our _____________ pays part of our healthcare. Obama has never done that even with his campaign staff. Our ________________ served in the US Military. Obama has never done that. Our ________________________ has x number of employees Obama doesn't have that. There must be over 1 million people in the United States who have more qualifications to be President than Senator Obama - and that's just the democrats! I dont know of a single thing Obamas done except talk and write.
Let's make a game of it! It can become the new "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon." Who's got a stronger Resume than Obama's?
“The return of the Newt that I loved and respected...”
Me too. It was nice to see him on top of his game again. The McCain camp needs to line up folks to get his message out over and over and over because the truth hurts Obama.
I don’t think most of America appreciate a woman and her family getting beat up constantly on network news either. It is and will backfire with middle America and that’s the election right there.
I have not seen conservatives getting this fired up in a long time. Prayers for Palin and her family!
Hey, you guys also realize who started Drill Here, Drill now, Pay less??? Newt, you magnificent bastard!
Personally, if I was running for President, on the grounds that I am qualified because I was running for President, I'd probably be ashamed to show my face in public, out of well founded fear of merciless ridicule.
But that's just me.
Although if running for President is proof that you're qualified to run for President, then why even waste time with getting a real job? Just run directly for President, and cut out the middleman.
RW, thanks for posting the pertinent part, I appreciate getting that.
The only thing Obama's really done in his life is run for President!
“The only thing Obama’s really done in his life is run for President!”
I think it was Mark Steyn who recently wrote that: “The only thing Obama has ever run is his mouth.”
And he’s not too good at that without his teleprompter.
