That US Editor was such a weasel. On “troopergate” he said they didn’t have time to investigate the charges against the trooper. What? They could have googled it in 2 minutes and obtained the list.
And the cover word “LIES” he said referred to the lies people were telling about Palin. Riight. Anyone seeing the cover would think the lies referred to something Palin did.

Anybody can write anything today, even totally made up false stories, with virtual impunity.
Every time the editor would try to lie to her, she’d call him on it. He didn’t handle it well. She really called him on the carpet about things like how the magazine failed to mention that Todd Palin’s DUI was 22 years ago, even though the editor claimed they did mention it. Meg rocks!

Megan had the article in one hand and a broadsword in the other. Parts were flying, lies were dying.
I watched it. It was good and I too wanted to punch him. He was so smug. Unfortunately, they’ll sell a lot of magazines and it will all be for naught and this creep will get a big bonus out of it. I wish we could go to the stores that sell it and rip up all the issues so noone could buuy them.
Megyn pointed out that they never went into detail on what her brother-in-law had done to his step-son, the threats or anything. All they reported on were the allegations against her. There was another issue in the segment I saw but don’t recall what it was. In both cases, the prissy boy stated it was a “balanced” article in which they did not have room for all the details. Naturally, the details they left out were favorable to Sarah Palin.
The prissy boy could only say “read the article”, “read the article”. Smarmy, elusive, and way in over his head with Megyn Kelly.

I couldn't immediately find Bradley Jacobs' email address on the magazine's website, but I'm guessing - based on the other email addresses listed in the media kit - it would be bradley.jacobs@usmagazine.com.
A Google search of the guessed email address suggests that it is valid. Haven't emailed him, yet.
It's a guess, but that's all I have to go on.
Megyn has been excellent the last few days on the Palin issue. I’ve always liked her.
I was whooopin’ out loud after that segment. GO MEGAN. She took that bastard out behind the woodshed.
She went point by point through the things the article claimed, starting with the title: ‘ Babies Lies & Scandal’\by asking “What Lies?”..He tyried to play it off like the lies they were talking about, were the ones the Left Wing Hate Sites had been slinging over the weekend...to which, the next question was, Where on the cover does it give any indication that the lies were not Palins?...it got even more direct, as the body of the story was questioned. The Us editor, tried to play it off like it was a balanced article, but it was pointed out that many of the slanders were not given any rebuttal space from Palins defenders.
She tore his flimsy defense of the smear piece to shreds. >B-)

No kidding! Between Megyn and the other woman attorney (sorry, can't recall her name), Bill couldn't get a word in edgewise and when they stopped talking at the end, he was just sitting there, speechless. It was hilarious.
At the convention, about 5 minutes ago, by throwing his trash journalism back in his face and refusing to accept his BS answers, many many parts smeared all over the set. Hope that helps. AWB
