Why paste that title at the top of your article then?? What is wrong with you people?

Dr Neds column does not square with what the individuals are on records as saying as per the documents filed by the Gov.

He must be basing his column on Gov. Palin’s dis-grunted opponent's rantings.

>> Palin asked him to fire Wooten. He refused, and Palin fired him instead. <<

The word “instead” suggests that the causes were related: If Bob says, “I was hungry, but there was no food. I went jogging instead.” Does this not imply that I went jogging because there was no food to be eaten? Even when there is no apparent way for one action (jogging) to be related to another (eating), one presumes Bob would not have gone jogging, had he had food to eat.

I think Governor Palin was primarily concerned with Alaska State Troopers illegally shooting moose, drinking beer in the squad cars and shooting 11 year olds with Tasers. I know that kind of stuff doesn’t bother DemocRATS but I can understand why Governor Palin got a little upset and thought maybe it was time someone cleaned that mess up.

I haven’t seen anything like this since Clarence Thomas - another conservative who refused to tow the liberal line for his interest group.

What we need is the American version of Pinochet - without the killings, of course, but certainly someone needs to get the wasps out of the rafters.

God help us if the left wins this election. If their behavior now is any indication, a leftwing victory means the end of the American experiment in republican government. I don’t normally think in those terms, but the left’s behavior towards Palin tells me that they are willing to do absolutely anything in the pursuit of power. God help us.

My wife just walked in the door and asked “Did you hear the latest on Sarah Palin? The National Enquirer has come out with, someone in the immediate family has had an affair. So that means either her or her husband”.

WTF?

I haven’t seen anything here, yet, but this is beyond obscene.

“Governor Sarah Palin: Did She Make False Allegations Against a Father?”

NO, but JOSEPH BIDEN sure did and it destroyed the mans life.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2069846/posts

Sen. Joseph Biden - Bearing false witness...

[snip]“In a striking moment in December 2007, he opened his heart to University of Iowa students. “Let me tell you a little story. My wife and three kids were Christmas shopping for a Christmas tree, a tractor trailer, a guy who allegedly, and I never pursued it, drank his lunch instead of eating his lunch, broadsided my family, killed my wife instantly, killed my daughter instantly, and hospitalized my two sons.”

Out on the stump recently and for years, Biden has repeated this charge. Lately, he has tried to soften it with the thought that he doesn’t know if the semi truck driver was drunk...., “ I never pursued it”. He didn’t follow the case about the death of his wife and child? Give me a break.

The court certainly did. The driver was never charged and was cleared of any wrong doing. Mrs. Biden, driving a station wagon full of kids and a Christmas tree pulled into the truck’s path. The driver, also a victim, had not been drinking and for the years before his death his reputation suffered with the false charge that Biden put out in the public for sympathy and political gain.”

“According to Monegan, Palin asked him to fire Wooten. He refused, and Palin fired him instead. Palin stated that she fired him for reasons unrelated to Wooten, while Monegan claims that Wooten was in fact the cause of his firing.”

I was not commenting on the conclusion Dr Ned came to. I was commenting on the fact that he had comments like the one above sprinkled all through it.

In the court papers filed on this they given the ref. where Monegan said under oath that she did not pressure him.

The loon firing off all the crap is the guy she defeated back then, H-something or other.

His conclusion is right, he just used the wrong stuff to get there.

One thing I’ve gathered from all the coverage the last few days.

Obama’s campaign strategy involves him debating Bristol Palin. He has evidently decided thats his best path forward.

The last thing he wants is to face McCain straight on. He doesn’t even want to face an unbloodied Sarah, he’s got to try to knock her out on a technicality.

We are seeing Obama in all his glory. This is how he does business.

The end of the Republic was some time ago, we are now a democracy, and soon to be a tyranny.

Such is the fate of all republics who loose sight of their origins and forget their goals. Athens, Rome, and now the US.

Let's admit it, there are Troopers that become law enforcement officers simply because they are looking to be in a “power position”. I am sure the percentage is slim, but Wooten fits the bill.

If he's doing this kind of “stuff” with his family, friends and peers, I wonder how he uses his “Trooper” status when he pulls over an Alaskan Citizen. If he doesn't demonstrate good judgment “off the field” I'd be curious of his action when on duty!

I've come up against brutes like this before in law enforcement and unfortunately their “Union Reps” protect them regardless of their actions. Sara Palin had every right as Governor of Alaska to take this crazy man off the force to protect the Citizens of Alaska.

I am too, they should leave it alone now. Let Sarah Palin make her case to the people tonight, and then McCain tomorrow night, and take their case to the American people at campaign stops, and in advertizing.
The debates are another place to shine for us and make our case.
