Now on... Obama has no word about the Dems' vomitous personal attacks against Palin, of course... reporter asks, "How is being a community organizer relevant to being President?" Obama... "They never mention my time in the state legislature (LOL!) or my time in the Senate (what time? He's never been there)"... reporter: "Why is your campaign going after Palin personally?" ... Obama: "She's only been in this for four days... we've been in this for 18 months... I don't think her ideas are any different than the failed McCain ideas... I'm the best person to bring the change we want on energy and health care and the economy..." Reporter: "With so many reporters attacking Palin, what should you do now?" Obama: "They have no agenda to run on... no idea how to make the lives of Americans better... thjey spent their time extolling McCain's biography..." Obama: "I've been called worse things on the basketball court... we need to provide good jobs at good wages (PAGING MICHAEL DUKAKIS...)... (more empty rhetoric)... clearly angry at reporters for asking real questions... ends interview.
Rudy sure did, I forget the exact number, 160 times maybe, he couldn't decide how to vote so only voted 'present'.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Obama, may you drown in your own puke and the puke of your followers (just for the sake of diversity) and we’ll see if we can tell the difference between one kind of puke and another. Maybe you can sell some fake Rolexes in the Wal Mart parking lot you came from.
Reminds me of a joke: “What do you call that green thing in the middle of birdpoop?”
Slash and Burn: That’s what the Obamadon nazi brown shirts are doing in Saint Paul
What a frickin Nancy boy! I do believe they have found his sensative side! Doesn’t sound like he has the stones to be the President-whiny little b——!!
They did mention his time in the Illinois state and U.S. Senate - over 100 “present” votes, and two memoirs but not one piece of new or reform legislation.
Barry needs to keep up.
“... he should just be given the office because ...”
That’s how affirmitive action works? Obama has grown accustomed to this.
Soros and Biden need to dump Zerobama from the ticket “by next week.”
The ZerO is a “victim.”
All that Hate Bush Hate Republican crap that they spewed during their entire convention doesn’t count?
And the last 8 years.
Their bitching means nothing.
“Slash and Burn” is better than “Sweet Talk and Coopt” politics...
I thought it was because he’s been given everything else to this point, so why not the Presidency?
OMG!! Just witnessed this clown on Fox! You hit the nail right on the head with the “glass jaw” tag. BHMO is a COMPLETE DISASTER waiting to happen. This is going to be very enjoyable watching these clowns “fumble” all over themselves. :)
This guy would have been a fabulous opening act for the late great Sam Kinison.
Sam could have done an entire act on just a few Obama remarks. And Sarah Palin’s jibes wouldn’t compare to the damage done by Kinson. Figurative Obama body parts would all over the floor after savaging that Kinison would have performed on this pompous poseur.
[cue the Rebirth Brass Band]
“Don’t start no s**t, won’t be no s**t!”
130 times. But his response is to say that voting “present” doesn’t mean just being present, it’s a legislative technique that has some mystical meaning that I couldn’t really understand, but to him means he was really voting when he didn’t vote.
Finally, Finally, FINALLY last night somebody challenged Obama’s ‘community organizer’ claim. I have been hearing over and over from the MSM, Obama, and Ms. Obama, that Obama should be President because he was a ‘community organizer’, like that was tantamount to being the Pope. It was and is sickening and I am so glad that Rudy and Sarah picked that apart.
He is such a wimp. Politics is a blood sport - and he hasn’t got the courage to fight back himself. He lets the media do it.
His community organizing was also done with ACORN - a notoriously socialist outfit.
Mr. Obama must be scared stiff now. He thought the rest of the campaign was going to be a walk in the park - until Sarah Palin.
Hmmm...kind of like Obama only discussing Sarah as a Mayor and not a Governor.
Come on, now. It took a lot of courage to vote “present”. </disgusted sarcasm>
I posted on another thread that IMO the Obama is so sensitive to criticism that someone could question his style of shoe and he’d get upset and concerened over it.
He’d not used to being questioned and doesn’t know how to deal with it.
He can be derailed, moved off track, and made to lose focus if not possibly provoked into a tirade by quesions and criticism.
130 times he voted “present.”
Rudy sure did, highlighting Barry Hussein's 137 'present' votes....
I am listening to Hannity now playing this and cannot quit laughing.
We need one of those violins for Obama’s whine! Rudy and Gov Palin got in Obama’s head! It is AWESOME.
Cannot believe Obama went after Hannity by name! What a whiney little man!
What a punk.
Alaska’s governor really ripped O’Bammy’s arse last night and the Chosen One isn’t used to such rude handling.
(And she’s going to eat Biden’s lunch in debate ....)
Will they show this again?
For one thing, they did mention his time in the State legislature all those votes as PRESENT.
LOL! Rudy got him good. “When I was Mayor, I didn't know about that vote thing “PRESENT”!” A couple of weeks ago, the boastful Messiah Obama said "They (republicans) dont know who they're messing with. They bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun." Well, last night Governor Sarah Palin brought a hockey stick and she knocked the puck out of him.
Imagine how this guy will melt down if he's ever exposed to real pressure.
Obama can thank his pals in the media. I don’t think Sarah would have been as tough on him if they hadn’t attacked her so viciously. She had to show the country what she’s made of and it paid off big time.

WOW! Yes, Sam Kinison!!! I LOVED Sam Kinison — I was a huge fan — such a tragedy, his untimely death in that auto accident — thanks for reminding me about him — he was unique and an acquired taste, I suppose, but I really got a kick out of his humor.
Voting “present” could mean that he was being paired with another state senator of a particular issue.
However, “pairing,” at least in my experience, was done if you were NOT present in the chamber and neither was the colleague with whom you were being paired who was on the other side of the issue.
During my time working in a state senate, voting “present” was akin to “abstain.”
The replies in this thread are all spot on.
dang, you freepers are sharp and smart. i take my hat off to you.
“He is a whiney prima donna....”
More like a whiney prima donna Diva if you ask me. My 4 year son has more guts and masculinity than Obambi.
That part of the speech had me laughing so hard. Rudy was on a roll in his set-up for Gov Palin. What a one-two punch! Dems have no one to compare to those two speaking one after the other.
Liberal-Leftist-Socialism-Marxist-Communism big-brother-big-government Power-hungry-Elitism is a cancerous tumor that needs to be slashed out of American society with a scalpel and burned with radiation of truth.
What an empty suit.
He reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer is “wroking” for a company that never employed him and he gets called into the manager’s office who hs to “fire” him from a job that doesn’t really exist, like a community organizer.
Heh! He could use a couple of Midol along with it.
Palin left a mark and McCain should follow up tonight with a roundhouse.
“The Zero” definitely is jealous of what Governor Palin pulled off last night.
lol...that's right! Thanks for the reminder.
Barack Obama has never had to deal with serious adversity in his adult life.
Think about it. He’s had a pretty good go of things, has he not? Law school, editor of the law review...then he became a “community organizer,” whatever THAT is. Let’s just say it’s probably not a job where he got criticized too much, I’d imagine. Oh, and he was also a lecturer in a law school too.
He decided to get into politics, and there he was, the perfect “narrative,” as Peggy Noonan might say. Attractive, black (well, bi-racial, but the white part obviously doesn’t count), “post-partisan,” intelligent, articulate, a tremendous orator. His Chicago pol friends paved the way for him, and helped him get into the State Senate, and then the US Senate...remember those releases of Jack Ryan’s nasty divorce papers that forced him from the race against Obama? Gee, how’d that happen?
So here he is. Barack Obama has the world by the short-n-curlies. A man who can send eighty thousand people in a stadium into fits of ecstacy with honeyed, empty-calorie words of “hope” and “change.” A man who took a long-shot bid at the Presidency and ran it roughshod over the dominant political force in the modern Democratic Party, and made it look easy. He’s had the skids greased for him to coast into the White House, in a year where the press has convinced the American people that Republicans are thuggish hypocrites and President Bush is simultaneously a fascist evil genius and a blithering idiot.
And all of a sudden, there’s a problem. Somebody isn’t sticking to the script. The Republicans aren’t going with the program and rolling over like Republicans do. Their nominee mostly shored his relations up with their base, they patched up their internal cracks, and then WHAM. Hurricane Sarah made landfall in St. Paul and all Heaven broke loose. And she took him apart like she’d field-dress a caribou.
And he has NO IDEA what to do about it.
