Just finished listening to Mark Shields on PBS slamming McCain’s speech .. that guy is an idiot and I can’t wait for Rush to blow him apart .....
He has always been paired up with a discussion partner porported to be a Republican, to supposedly give two opposing sides to a political story. The so-called Republicans he has partnered with over the years include David Gergen, Paul Gigot, and David Brooks. Gergen worked in the Clinton White House and Brooks (now Shields' opposite on PBS) works for the New York Slimes. So those two are RINOS at best. Gigot is probably a real Republican of sorts, but kind of a "moderate" currently employed primarily by the Wall Street Journal.
