McCain’s selection of Palin was a signal to conservatives. That is the race changer.
Now we look to the coat tails.
Even OPRAH is terrified of Palin.

Sometimes the logic of this being an “otherwise Democratic year” escapes me.
It goes like this: President Bush is immensely unpopular, therefore electing McCain should be difficult (though that has now thankfully changed with recent events).
But the Democrat controlled Congress is even MORE unpopular than President Bush, yet the conventional wisdom is that this bodes poorly for the Republicans. I just don’t get it. How is it that lack of popularity only hurts the GOP?
November may turn out to be a stronger showing for the GOP than just about anyone is expecting, especially if the GOP continues to hammer the “Drill Here. Drill Now” theme.
