Heh heh heh, the brown noise!

The three adult children who took turns disrupting John McCain's acceptance speech last night, now being heralded as heroes by some left wing blogs, are off-springs of the steady lineage of vitriolic shrill that's come from Al Gore (of "He lied to us; he preyed on our fears" fame), Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Harry Reid, et al, for they have helped sustain and sanction their growth.
With each spewing of distain and hatred for Bush-Cheney, a divot is taken out of the fairway of what civility there was left in American political discourse. And, while partisans might meet later with their pseudo mortal enemies over a drink in the club and exchange stories, their naive minions-of-bitterness take all the adversarial theater seriously. So they put bumper stickers on their cars that read "Bush Lied & People Died," and the more zealous among them dress up in costume and crash McCain's acceptance speech.
Some blogs have identified the protesters last light as "veterans." Veterans of what? The suppression of free speech? The battle to support rudeness and incivility by trying to drown out what others want to hear?
With every disruption from these "veterans," McCain picked up a few thousand more votes. And, when he smiled, went off script, and said, "Don't be diverted by ground noise and static," the focused steadiness of the former combat pilot surfaced and we got a closer glimpse into the man.
I'm thinking most of us liked what we saw at that moment. I sure did.
I thought that was the best part of the speech, off the cuff, and funny!
To the left “heroes” are punks disrupting a political gathering where the worst consequences they will likely suffer are small fines for trespassing and disturbing the peace.
To the right, they are men like McCain who suffered 5 years in a POW hellhole, being beaten and tortured regularly, and come home with no regrets.
A freeper pointed out that it’s “brown noise and static” as in b.s.
The best thing about leftists is that they think synbolic, silly actions like those last night are meaningful accomplishments and helpful to their cause.
And how many instances of Republicans disrupting or attempting to disrupt the DNC were there?

Yup. Makes perfect sense.
First he handled it great. That said, in daydreaming a bit, I wonder what the response would have been if he had said after one of the interruptions....

My guess is that McCain was speaking as a Navy pilot describing spurious, non-threatening electronic emanations coming up from below -- as opposed to ground to air missile tracking emanations.
That's awfully RACIST of him to say, isn't it???

HOW, I ask, did these Left Wingnuts get into the convention in the first place. Doesn’t security check credentials?
These were “brown shirts” that tried to interrupt. This method of intimidation is as deeply rooted in Naziism as Hitler himself. These kinds of “outbursts” only help McCain that much more. There are still some people who would be ashamed to vote and/or support Obama because of the association of these animals.
