WHY, why, why can’t WE have a Sarah Palin?

Consider how long we've had a "Margaret Thatcher" on back order...

Hopefully, one of the numerous Good Things that will come of a McCain / Palin victory will be not only in reenergizing the Republican party but also British Conservatives.  My hope is that they might look at this and say "hey, if the Yanks can do it so can we".  If the Brits start demanding something en masse, they just might get it.

And she's sharper than a gouda
She's much hotter than Bermuda
She's our Sarah Barracuda!

So how will the Lib Dhims react if even the foreigners back McPalin?

So, you don't think that the endorsements from Hezbollah and the Communist Party would be enough to make them happy?

(((((snicker)))))

Outstanding poster, Stoat. And a great couple of articles by our conservative friends across the pond.

America had it’s little spat with England when we chose to go our own way, but when the chips are down (both world wars, Iraq, etc.)we always stand “side by side.”

Thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm delighted that you've found it to be worthwhile  :-)

I was there last year and took my kids

it is nott he same as it used to be as many pakistani’s are now taking over but you can still have a good laugh there and the kids loved the amusements and rides

Sounds like a wonderful holiday full of grand, screaming fun.  Hopefully you will always be able to get bangers and mash for breakfast there and will never be forced to have a curry if you don't want it  :-).

"Blackpool"

My next English destination. After visiting Great Yarmouth (among other destinations) two years ago, I told my Norwich born and raised wife that Blackpool had to be next. She told me I was barmy. I guess that must be an English word of praise. (smirk)

a clockwork orange of mediocrity

Gotta love these Brits and their way with words!

The Sun in particular can always be counted on for a captivating (at least to this proud Yank) use of language including sprinklings of slang, including Cockney Rhyming Slang, which makes every article all the more interesting.  I try to make The Sun a regular stop in my meanderings  :-)

I can’t wait for the next 60 days to be over and for the man the press would have us believe can walk on water to drown in a tidal wave of his own hype.

Tell her that you have an insatiable craving for Jellied Eels from the Blackpool Pier and she'll REALLY think that you're barmy   :-)

Sally Quinn, is on OReilly Factor, and is apologizing for her comments and I believe her column on Sarah Palin.

She agreed that the medias attack on her are helping McCain and Palin.

The excitement is infectious...she has a universal appeal; at least among those who love freedom and despise Socialism.

This may well be the most exciting election of my lifetime.

 Governor Sarah Palin

Thank you for the update!

Too late though...the American public has seen the ugly face of the Leftist media, and that's an impression that won't likely be brushed under the rug too quickly.
