Obama Leading North Dakota by 3 Points in Aug 23-27 Poll. [ALERT! POLL BIAS]
dakotapolitics.com ^

Posted on 09/06/2008 3:18:17 AM PDT by tomymind

A poll conducted from August 23-27 by DFM Research of 400 likely voters shows Obama leading 43% to 40% with 5% Other and 12% Unsure (margin of error +/- 5%).

This is the first ND Poll since February showing Obama Leading in North Dakota. (Real Clear Politics has McCain up +3, +1, and +6 in the last 3 polls and Obama up +4 in February)

I spoke with Dean Mitchell of DFM Research Today and he stated that the poll was conducted during the DNC Convention with polling ending the day prior to Obama's speech.

The full results are listed below and it includes some polling on the Governors Race and the Insurance Commissioner Race. Hoeven leads Mathern by 44 Percentage Points (63 to 19) and Kelly Schmidt leads Mitch Vance in the treasurer race by 22% to 17% with 59% Unsure.

They asked 400 people, thats like not even a full sample, its not a very reliable poll.

Don’t let Obama’s camp know about this. Perhaps they will spend their ‘hard earned’ money there.

the poll was conducted during the DNC Convention with polling ending the day prior to Obama's speech.

The poll ended before the Obambi's speech. It's a whole different race now.

If McCain has to worry about North Dakota the election is lost for him. Is there some huge demographic shift that would make this so?

Get the word out as much as possible:

Don’t listen to the polls. Act as if there are no polls.

If you’re going to donate, donate.
If you’re going to volunteer, volunteer.
If you’re going to vote, vote.

Don’t pay attention to any polls, except the final polls, the election day polls.

Everything else is subject to left-wing manipulation.

"If McCain has to worry about North Dakota the election is lost for him."

He doesn't.

"Is there some huge demographic shift that would make this so?"

Yes ... The polling was done in the homeless shelters, under bridges, and behind Home Depot and Lowes. IE: Where bums & illegals hang out.

This poll story does not jive .... North Dakota is not Homeboys from the Hood Chicago.

400 people from Fargo, Grand Forks and Minot (Eastern North ?Dakota) who are going to work in the 5 new Obama campaign offices, were polled. North Dakota is full of their whining, socialist Democrat Non Partisan League pukes.
