Hundreds of angry people in this small town outside Milwaukee taunted reporters and TV crews traveling with Sen. John McCain on Friday, chanting "Be fair!" and pointing fingers at a pack of journalists as they booed loudly...

The media bias issue, like drilling, has legs if skillfully handled.
Most Americans realize that media bias isn’t fantasy, it’s solid fact.
The crowd was not menacing or threatening, but was clearly angry.
BWAHAHA! Hey MSM, That's America talking to YOU!
....last election cycle Hollywood hurt the Dems...this time it will be the MSM.
Telling them that to their faces is a good start. A good finish is to hit them where it counts in their pocketbook. Don’t buy slanted magazines or newspapers or watch the likes of CNN and MSNBC.
I guess the reporters and TV crew will now report that the crowds were booing McCain.
Karma
“WE’RE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!”
Why is it that small town America has a better sense of fairness than the big cities???
Is it because one often knows or at least recognises the people around them?
The media has it coming, IMO.
This weekend- not last weekend right after Nobama’s convention- the Sunday talking heads are overwhelming the airwaves with all Nobama all the time. Why didn’t they interview him right after his own convention and his great Grecian styrofoam columns Hollywood set? Why not interview McCain and Palin this weekend?
Oh- wait- how stupid of me...the “non-biased” media will do anything to take away McCain and Palin’s thunder.
Too late ABC/NBC/et al. Thunder has arrived.
Something similar happened in Huntington, Indiana twenty years ago.
The MSM doth sucketh mightily!
I had to listen to the Diane Rhem show on NPR this week and was astounded by the defense of the media given by USA TODAY’s Susan Page and the WAPO’s Anne Kornblut.
They both said that, when the Palin selection was announced, the “media” just didn’t have any information on her.
Diane is usually incisive, but fell down on the job by not following up with this question:
DIANE: But why is that, Susan Page? As A Republican over 2 years ago she forced the head of the Alaska GOP to resign his commission seat because of conflict of interest. As a young GOP candidate she beat a sitting Republican Governer in his own Primary. As Governor, she put the Gov’s airplane up for sale on EBay. These were all covered by the Alaska press and even sent over the AP wires. Whay did your newspapers not follow up on any of these “tips” that a new political star had risen. It seems to me that, if the media had no idea who she was, it was because of your own fault in not covering the life and dedication of a dynamic, conservative woman.
What does that chart represent. You need to add the label.
“....last election cycle Hollywood hurt the Dems...this time it will be the MSM.”
You can bet that at some level, the Obama campaign is having conversations with leading media figures to try to find a strategy so they can have both ways. In other words, pretend to be fair.
NYT stocks. You have to look closely but it is there.
That is truly the only way to influence them. Incidents like this one, where they are hooted at and rebuked, only reinforces the reporters' attitudes that "flyover country" is full of ignorant bumpkins who "don't get it". Once they're safely back in the arms of the Drive-By offices, they get their echo-chamber reinforcement and ego-stoking.
On the other hand, as "Us" magazine learned, refuse to buy their tripe and they may listen.
The new york times stock price...look in the upper left
Oh this is great!!!!! I hope it keeps up all through the next 60 days!!! I definitely see the media trying to back off a bit but the damage has been done. EVERYONE knows that Obama/Biden have got a pass on any unfavorable light yet McCain/Palin have been constantly slaughtered! Even having Obama on Time magazine for the 7th time this year and McCain 2 times....OPRAH not allowing McCain/Palin and yet obama twice!!! Enough....it is refreshing to see the sleeping voters fighting back. We will fight back in the voting booth and show the media as much as they have tried...we the people want fairness...fairness in reporting and this has been far too slanted way too long!!!!
