One point she might be making is that we don’t want Rudy for Attorney General no matter how well he spoke at the convention.

Getting a little bit ahead of ourselves here, aren't we people? Never assume anything until it actually happens. McCain should be running like he's 10 points behind until election day, and so should we.

Forget about Rudy or anyone else and WIN this thing first!

Dig this up so he won’t hold a cabinet position when McCain/Palin win?

The time for anything like that is between Nov 5th and Jan 15th, NOT NOW!

Let’s here from Liz... before y’all go off the deep end with criticism. One point she might be making is that we don’t want Rudy for Attorney General no matter how well he spoke at the convention.

Fine.

Can we have that argument after we win the flippin' election???

I’m still hoping that Fred Thompson will get into the race. Think he’ll announce soon?

Liz you were obsessing about Giuliani something fierce when he was running. The linchpin of your argument then seemed to be the same as it is now, basically that JimRob didn't like his politics therefore we should fall into lockstep because of that.

McCain/Palin is the ticket.

You need to get a life.

I get the sense that there are some on this forum who feel another purge is needed. I would however, welcome gratefully any views that would prove me wrong.

>>Guess we don;t want him as U.S. A.G. or on the Supreme Court.<<

I sure as hell don’t.

Obviously the main focus is on winning the election but it might be worth a small signal to McCain not to promise too much to Guiliani.

Yup. I like Romney. But I don;t like that Lindsey Graham character, nor Bill Frist nor Brownback either.

All Libs.

What exactly is the point of posting this now?

That's what I would like to know. At a time when we seek party unity this is devisive.

So freakin' what, Liz...

We did not nominate that RINO.

All the good things about Gov. Palin notwithstanding, there is a RINO on top of the ticket who is Giuliani's equal in his lack of respect for the Constitution.

I didn't think much of the first “purge” and sure as hell don't support another one. FR has always been overloaded with too many conspiracy theorist (Y2K, flight 800, Vince Foster being murdered). Yet they were not purged from FR even though they made us look like Kooksville.

Wholesale purges are a bad idea. When JimRob or the mods ban somebody it should be on a one on one basis.

Let’s deal with AG after McCain is President. 2006 showed the GOP what putting aside their base could do. They will remember. But this isn’t a uniting post. Liberals and Obama are still public enemy #1. If we eat our young and argue over cabinet posts before winning the election, the divisions may lead to the DEMS in office.
