Hard core DemocRat see reality, and likes what he sees...then tries to help the ticket with some stage intructions....to wit...
"By the way, a note to John McCain: Get rid of the suits.
McCain is best with an open collar, his sleeves rolled up and in a Western shirt.
He doesn't come off well in suits at all.
They make him look old.
And Cindy - keep the hair up."

She didn't have to prove she was "of the people." She really is the people.... BINGO! And THAT scares the Rats to death!

the Palin bandwagon needs to roll for only two months
Good call, Willie. The liberal press has only 60 days to get the bloom off Palin’s rose, and the more they try, the better it is for her.
What a masterstroke of brilliance this selection has become.

What?! Willie Brown wrote this?! Every once in a while Democrats feel the need to be honest. He will get back on the talking points soon.

That’s the part the media just doesn’t get.

and the press will treat her like they treated Obama when he was first discovered. And just when is this going to start?

Not only....but there are now appearing many such admiring articles in this and other leftist bastions of the press.
I suspect that they will appear on this Forum.

The last person who did that adopted a Muslim name.

I couldn’t believe Willie Brown wrote this either, until I read some of his other columns. He was the smartest politician in CA and now that he is retired he doesn’t have to be partisan and he calls it like he sees it.

He is, in effect, favorably comparing her to The Greatest, the black icon, one of the most well-known people in the world, Muhammad Ali.
Wow.

I like his last (unrelated) snippet at the link:
By the way, there's a new dining tip for people going out in Oakland.
Be sure to order soup.
That way when the robbery starts, you can slip off your jewelry and drop it into soup so the robbers won't see it.

Willie Brown is, was, and always will be all about Willie Brown.

Willie Brown has just found a new parade...

To: Senator Goldwater
Well, the MSM will not stop after Election Day. They know that they need to destroy Sarah Palin. If they can’t get to her with anything substantive, they’ll just keep banging away with ridicule. They’ve done this with GWB & Dick Cheney for 8 years. Look at their ‘numbers’.
With Liberalism its all about ‘The Movement’.
