Not going to happen. As I posted on another thread:
The problem with Obama/Biden is primarily...Obama. Dropping Biden is suicide and as much as Hillary would like to eliminate her debt she has no desire to jump on the trainwreck that is the Obama campaign. It simply won't happen. Ironically as it becomes clear she should have been the nominee she will get the funds covered by a plethora of Dem fat cats as a way to say, "Whoops! Sorry! We should have listened to you."
The only possible reason Hillary would jump on board is because Palin takes away Hillary's uniqueness, gender-wise, in 2012 and thus she would be locked out for good. Still Hillary is better positioned in 2012 as a martyr than being tainted by teaming up with a sinking Obama campaign that could very well recieve the worst designation in politics come Nov 4 - Loser.
Beyond the obvious fact that after a running mate is picked there is short period where a coordination of a message is banged out that reflects the message of the top of the ticket with the bottom, the media, Obama and hopeless libs are simply setting themselves up once again.
Starting with the Charlie Gibson ABC interview to air this weekend or early next week (interview actually to be made Thursday and Friday, I believe) these cries that Palin is simply avoiding the press because she "can't take it" or is unprepared or yada yada has again only guaranteed a huge audience come air time. And once again she will show that she is not to be underestimated. Then in short measure you will see a non-stop parade of Palin, Palin, Palin in various venues. By the time this is all over the very people that claimed Palin wasn't interviewing because she wasn't (insert) will be the same ones that will call her a media whore.
The McCain campaign has executed some brilliant strategy but the fact remains that you don't have to a genius to know how predictable the media, Hollywood, lib voters will be. Therefore taking the necessary time before working the media is not only good policy but is a chance to let the libs spout off their conspiracy theories only to have them backfire when Palin does what they are claiming they want.
It is going to be truly priceless.
The media forgets she has a job as Governor of Alaska. She has to go back to work.
Actually, the McCain camp put out the message that she was basically off-limits to the press till they cooled their vicious attacks.
