Yesterday on Meet the Press, Tom Brokaw asked Joe Biden if the troop surge in Iraq had made possible the increased security and reconciliation we now see in that country. Here is Bidens answer:
SEN. BIDEN: No. The surge helped make thatwhat made is possible in Anbar province is they did what Id suggested two and a half years ago: gave local control.

Biden's plan for Iraq was to balkinize it, since that worked out so well for the Balkans.
Sorry Joe, nobody listened to you, as always, and they were rewarded for it, as always.

Our Troops and President Bush/John McCain have won this war with absolutely no help from the Cut&RunocRats. They were fighting for Defeat.

We destroyed biden yesterday, when this was first posted. He was for dividing Iraq into 3 independent Nations and pulling out all troops immediately.

Does this nimrod even think about his nonsensical answers before he makes them? Look, Plugs, if we’d given back control two and a half years ago, before the surge, Al-Qaeda would be running Anbar. The idea of the surge WAS to bolster the ability to give Iraqi control to the various regions.
It’s as if Biden was around during secession saying “we need to abolish slavery” but isn’t in favor of armed conflict to do so. Lincoln fights and wins the Civil War, to have Biden say “yeah, well, the War only allowed them to do what I said four years ago, which was free the slaves.”
It totally scares me that this idiot would be heartbeat away from the Presidency. And he’s bringing “foreign affairs knowledge” to the ticket?

Correct... three Islamic caliphates versus one, middle-eastern democracy.

That's a great analogy.

OBiden is hoping that Woodwards book can make it true ... It won’t but keep hope alive.
Only a foll doesn’t know it was the troops who won the peace, they always do. I hope Bush has another victory rally in October.

(Three things matter when selecting a President - character, character and character.)
Almost always, when a liberal wants to claim credit for an idea or bolster a bad one, they reverse the cause-effect logic of an argument.
Joe Biden: The surge has allowed us to allow more local control, not the other way around.
Al Gore: Atmospheric CO2 rises after global temperature rise, not the other way around.

Biden, Murtha, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the RATS have done everything they could to cut & run from Iraq, now this clown says we’re winning because of him, laughable!

Yo, Joe. Get with your running mate and get on the same page. Obama’s story is that the surge was more successful than anyone imagined and has provided stability.
BTW - Your running mate didn’t credit you with the current stability in Iraq. You might want to get him to start saying things like that.

He also said he was so proud of his son for taking a job making $100,000 for MBNA (to whom he was crafting anti-bankruptcy legislation which favored them) when he could have been working on Wall Street for $150,000 as a graduate from law school.
Hey Joe, $150,000 in New York would have been a pay cut compared to making $100,000 in Wilmington, Delaware, Donkey Boy!

Biden has a great record. Against the gulf war, against the surge, against drilling for oil, against Bork Clarence Thomas, Alito and Roberts. 3rd most liberal voting record in congress. Palin could have a field day with this guy.
