Ft. Wayne RNC Delegate Gets I-D Stolen by Protest Group (Obama's Code Pink Bundler Jodie Evans)

It turns out a protest aimed at disrupting events at last week's Republican National Convention had a Fort Wayne connection.

Fort Wayne realtor Annie Eckrich says her stolen identification was used by operatives to illegally gain entry onto the convention floor.

Eckrich, who was an alternate delegate to the Republican Party extravaganza in Minneapolis- St. Paul, says she didn't know anything about what happened until a reporter called her, asking if she'd handed over her credentials to protesters.

The story has gotten national attention on several political blogs.

One of those blogs has displayed a picture of a simple badge with Eckrich's name on it that was used by members of a group called "Code Pink" to get into one of the prime time convention speeches.

Eckrich says a badge was left for her at a National Realtors Association reception that she never attended.

Instead, it appears the "Code Pink" members got their hands on it, and got in the convention to make a scene.

Annie Eckrich/I.D. Stolen at RNC: " It's a mystery to me, but obviously those people are very experienced at doing it, so somehow or another they did it. These people are angry people for some reason. I don't know if it was the way they were raised, um, I don't know why they have so much hatred in them, but they do."

Eckrich is particularly upset that a “Code Pink” press release suggested credentials were handed over by a disgruntled republican delegate.

She says she's firmly behind McCain, especially after the selection of Sarah Palin as McCain’s Vice-Presidential running mate.

Protesters were out in force all week in Minneapolis.

Eckrich said she was afraid to take a cab to many downtown events.

This election has stirred up an unprecedented amount of interest and emotion that will likely continue to run high through November 4th.

Unsaid in the report is the person seen wearing the Annie Eckrich ID is Obama bundler Jodie Evans.

Obama accepts her supporting our terrorist enemies, so I guess identity theft shouldn't bother him too much.

Can she prosecute in a most criminal way?

Yep, let’s hope a crime was committed so that a prosecution can take place.

OKay, so we have identity theft, trespassing, disturbing the peace, conspiracy to same, a person with known terrorist ties and a potential threat to the life of a candidate under USSS protection.

Why wasn’t she tasered on the convention floor and thrown to the crowd?

And Evans is on record as saying it was “given to them by a disaffected Republican.”

Oh look...they LIE, too. What a surprise.

There should absolutely be criminal penalties. This was theft, pure and simple. And Evans needs to have her ample and ugly a— hauled off to jail.

The CODE PINKos were on local radio KABC Sunday night telling the host, who was at the RNC convention with Doug McIntyre I believe ( a popular host).

The CPink person said that they basically would trick the people out of their id's. The host, who had been talking unwittingly with one of the Code Pink party crashers before they started to try to disrupt things and got thrown out by security, was amazed that the Code Pinkers had such easy access to id's.

The CPer said that it was pretty easy to get a badge. Said that most conventioneers came from out of town for this one event. Sounded like they just tricked them into giving them up. But now with this story, sounds more like they STOLE them... Wish I had been paying more attention to the broadcast, but the host was more worried that he was under the scrutiny of Security men there, when he had no idea these middle aged women he was talking to about mundane things in the handicapped wheelchair aisle were Code Pinkers.

P.S. to my post. It must have been Saturday night on LA talk radio KABC with John Phillips.

He was with host Doug McIntyre at the convention and when the Code Pinkers started up protesting, Doug got hit in the head.

The CPers were very open about getting the badges surreptitiously.

Eckrich says a badge was left for her at a National Realtors Association reception that she never attended.

Somebody doesn’t know the difference between the NRA and NAR.
