My mother had only two friends in her life that had been the mistress. One when she was young and didn’t care yet. And later when it took her circle 25 years to finf out their friend who couldn’t get a date was in reality a “the other woman”.
My mother’s daddy left my grandma for a nurse....one who was 30 years younger and had a steady supply of caverject...lol

many women especially after babies and in menopause (which is hard enough) fear this Sally Quinn thing...especially in the Town and Country peer group where a rich guy can snag a young supple hottie with ease...there is a lot at stake.....it’s tough being a woman with so much emphasis placed on looks and less on character
life ain’t fair..but hey....they outlive us by 7-10 years so it’s a tradeoff
