re: Obama: McCain, Palin ‘Lying’ About Maverick Claims

What is there about liberals and the lie or lying? It must be their most favorite word in the whole wide world! There are two or three others, like racist for instance, but there just must be something special about lying.

The seldom use it correctly. If someone tells you something and you tell someone else then it turns out the information you got was not correct then according to liberals you are lying.

McCain by 10 has been my mantra. As Obama continues to act like an idiot, a 15 point win is in the cards. Yesterday McCain folks said California had turned purble. Well, if things keep going as they are, McCain acting all presidential and Obama acting like an idiot, I think California, NJ are going red. Hawaii, Conn, Washington, Oregon.

First of all I don’t want some politician or a gaggle of bureaucrats deciding how to make my life better. It was Thoreau, I think, who wrote that if he knew a man was coming to his front door with no other intention than to do him good he would run screaming out the back door. I concur with this.

Second of all McCain has proven himself to be a “maverick” on more than one occasion. He has done this to the dismay of his own party and created such friction that party unity was a real issue up until the Palin pick. There are still lots of us who have reservations about the old man though I think most have come to realize that he is genuine and therefore, thorny though he is, he is trustworthy. We know where he is coming from and this is a sometimes cause for concern for a lot of us precisely because he really IS a “maverick”.

Contrast McCain with the ever-changing Barack Hussein Obama who was for the FISA bill before he was against it, for raising taxes before he decided he couldn’t, for taking public campaign funding before he decided he wouldn’t, is unable to determine when life begins because it’s not his job to make such a determination (not paid enough), said the surge would be a failure and wasn’t working before he decided it had succeeded “beyond my wildest dreams”, would never disavow Jeremiah Wright before he disavowed him, would stand above race before invoking race, etc., etc., etc.

Obama is the product of Chicago machine politics and has never, ever bucked the machine or his party at any time in any significant (or even noticeable) way. His policies and positions are down the line left wing dimrat party positions. He has never “reached across the aisle” on anything of any importance. His party loves him precisely because he has done nothing to rile the base or assert a contrary position of any importance on anything.

but the election should be about who can change people’s lives..

We know what CHANGE Obama would cause....because change would be all you would have, not dollars. He is getting desperate and frustrated and his numbers will keep going down. America wants a candidate that is optomistic. WE are smarter than he says we are and can define the differences...but keep it up Obama....the McCain/Palin side looks great and cheerful!!!

Which of course, she has done for the people of Alaska. The only thing Obambi has changed in his lifetime is his underwear.

He does? Where?

IMO, the angry black man card would require he accuse McCain of doing or saying something solely because Obama is black.

The angry black is just that - Angry.

Angry about race. Angry about non race. Angry about everything. Because the angry black man has a chip on his shoulder the size of Wisconsin.

Unreasonable anger directed at everyone. Unreasonable anger like calling people LIARS when they simply say they are for change, and calling them SHAMELESS for it.

How does Obama know if McCain/Palin are not for change when one would have to see them govern first?

Especially when "change" could entail many different things. Obama has used the word "change" for well over a year now but exactly what change is he about?

Considering that, a normal person could have their doubts, but it is the classic angry black man that would call it shameless lies.

Thus I stand by my post - Obama plays the angry black man card. And I very much doubt that will win him many middle of the road votes and those are exactly the votes they are fighting for.

So I guess that when McCain loses his temper, he’s is playing the angry white man card? I don’t know that he’s lost it lately, but he certainly has a reputation for doing so.

There certainly angry white men, they are mostly called Democrats though.

You seem to be missing the whole angry thing in the angry black man discriptor.

The angry black man has a chip on his shoulder and is angry about everything. The angry black man does not sit around happy waiting to be angry. I hope that helps you now.

He said Palin has an interesting biography — “Mother, governor, moose shooter. That’s cool,” he said — but the election should be about who can change people’s lives for the better.
Yo Barry, do you know the ten scariest words in the English language? No? Well here they are homey...
"I'm from the government and I'm here to help you".
Dig it Bro.

Yes this drives me nuts. They seem to think a "lie" is when an opponent says or does something they don't like.

That’s part of the problem. They’ll tell you that something that’s true, accurate and verified is a lie because one of their liberal friends called it a lie.

You can quote them verbatim, show documented sources and give accurate information and they will ignore it, lie about it and tell you that you’re the one lying.

Want to have a fun afternoon? Go to the politics forum on Amazon and see the derangement of the left. They have to be at least somewhat polite because they will be banned otherwise, but they will tell you every single time, no matter how many times you show them to be completely wrong that you’re lying. It’s blatent and frankly, unbelievable that there could be that many stupid people in the world.

“You do understand that McCain is using Rove’s strategy here. That is to use your opponent’s greatest strength against him. In this case, he has virtually stolen Obama’s biggest claim right out from under him.”

My mistake. I was hoping for a campaign based on issues rather than stealing an opponent’s greatest empty slogan. I guess I’m too idealistic.
