"For more than 75 years, the University of Chicago Hospitals (UCH) has provided state of the art medical care on the South Side of Chicago. UCH is one of the largest Medicaid providers in Illinois, and it provided more than $90 million in uncompensated care for Medicare and Medicaid patients this past year. To continue providing the best care for patients from all walks of life, UCH is proceeding with the construction of a new 600,000 square foot facility that will ensure their ability to provide the best care for patients well into the future. Funding will go towards assisting the construction and equipping a new hospital pavilion that will increase the Hospitals' clinical capacity by over one-third." Michelle Obama Was Appointed Vice President At The University Of Chicago Hospitals In 2005. Someone please forward this to Rush, Hannity and Bortz.
I’m sure they will pick it up anyway. The earmark thing is going to gain traction with the bridge deal. This should be the diversion from that.
What's so funny about the bridge deal is that Obama and Biden voted TWICE against an amendment to send the money to cover some costs after Katrina so as to reserve their right to make earmarks.
Can these people be any stupider? Then again it is an arrogance born of Democrats having become accustomed and then presumptive that the press would use kid gloves. Now the old school Democrat press is forced to confront certain issues because of the conservative blogosphere/new media. A slow but deserving death.
Yep, he is the One alright.
The Prince of EARmarks.
