I had a similar experience today, except I overheard the conversation. A prominent female lawyer was explaining to a clerk about how she felt that Sarah Palin should not advocate for abstinence anymore since her 17-year old daughter became pregnant (as a lawyer, she should see the fallacy in her thinking, but liberalism has sure clouded that). She then began to expound how it seems plausible to her that Trig Palin is actually the child of Bristol Palin based on a couple of photographs she saw online. The clerk did not say much, and seemed uncomfortable. These DU nutjobs are everywhere.

The fact is that America has seen a normal, down-to-earth woman who is also conservative and accepted her almost immediately. The left cannot handle this...and since they cannot win on issues, all they can do is spew hatred like angry toddlers. Hatred rarely needs logic, reason or common sense. All it needs is an outlet to blast from like an exploding sewer. The current behavior by the liberal left (especially those in the media) is Exhibit A.

Sarah has singlehandedly ripped off the mask of Liberalism and showed the world the hate mongers of the left. The Democrats are doomed. But, like tigers driven by beaters, they will not give up easy and will fight with all the cunning and skill they have. Watch out. They will bend every effort to destroy Sarah, her family and McCain. It wasn’t planned this way. McCain was to play the old fool, like Bob Dole to a young Clinton, and Obama would just waltz into the White House to bring forth the joys of the Worker’s Paradise.
