PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Former Rhode Island Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee has called vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a "cocky wacko" and said her selection as John McCain's running mate has energized supporters of Democrat Barack Obama.
Chafee left the Republican Party last year after losing his bid for re-election and now supports Obama. He told an audience Tuesday at the New America Foundation in Washington that the Alaska governor has revived a "lackluster McCain candidacy."

Lincoln Chaffee is the very last person who ought to be using the word “lackluster”.

Lincoln Chaffee is a total RINO-dirtball who only got into the U.S. Senate on his Daddy’s name and coattails, and I dearly hope that our illustrious President appreciates how his support for that sumb!tch in the last election cycle was reciprocated. That’s what we get with ‘compassionate conservatives’, it’s called ‘compassionate-getting-stabbed-in-the-back’.
Always did get the feeling Chafee had “cock”(y) on his mind. Same with the other RINOs as well.
The Dems are running scared. Not only will Palin win in November, she may have very long coattails on her Pendleton hunting jacket!
