Welcome to Native Americans Against Obama

Photobucket

http://www.nativeamericansagainstobama.com/about.html

We are a National Group dedicated to stopping one of the worst mistakes this country has ever made.....

We are a intertribal group of many nations. We invite you to join us.....

Our main objective is to bring all tribes members, non tribe members together to make a stand against Obama.

(Excerpt:)

John McCain has made a special effort to reach out to the Native Community. Soon we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of voting rights for Native Americans. John McCain has promised to improve our schools, on reservations, and continue to support our rights to the casinos. John McCain also sits on the Commitee of Indian Affairs.

FOR GOOD REASON'S

Obama failed to address "Real" Native American issues during the Democrat Primaries.

Obama, over all, did not win the Native American Vote in the primaries across the country.

The New York and Washington DC elites never seem to understand that Native Americans are some of the most patriotic people in this country -- fiercely independent and NOT INTERESTED in coalition politics.

Given that Palin is married to a fellow who’s part First Nations, I wonder if that will play into this at all.

Very true. Many of the members of our local VFW are also tribal members.

It can't hurt, BUT "Obama, over all, did not win the Native American Vote in the primaries across the country." This was BEFORE the Palin pick.

Check out their videos.

I’m very happy to see this turn of events.

As General Ely S. Parker, a member of the Seneca tribe, said in 1865...

“We are ALL Americans!”

As a percentage of the native american population, there are probably more veterans of WWII and the Korean war than the percentage of the rest of the U.S. population.

Would Todd Palin be our first VP spouse with native american blood?

Cool.

Even though Todd Palin and the Palin kids are part Native American (Eskimo), the best reason for Native Americans to support Republicans is because we believe in independence and individual effort.

Socialized handouts never freed anyone.

Very true. Many of the members of our local VFW are also tribal members.

I've often read that the Native Americans have, by capita, the most representation in our military today. I work with a lady who's grandfather was a code talker in WWII. We didn't talk much about it, but I certainly let her know that my great-uncle, who was a Marine Raider in the Pacific, likely owed his survival to him. Sadly, my uncle passed before I'd had a chance to spend much time visiting with him. I was an adult when he passed, but we lived far away from each other. I wish I'd been able to get his story written down.

I'm still trying to work on my wife's grandfather. He was Japanes (Nissei), living in California in WWII. He was sent to Heart Mountain, in WY, to the internment camps. He lied about his age and got into the Army and served with other Nissei against the Nazis.

Serving one's Nation in battle is highly prized.

I am not a fan "hyphenated-America" so I'll stick with Indian, Indians for the most part are very proud and very conservative. In as much as they do not like interference from the gub'mint.

They know better than any other Americans to never trust the government.

I wish McCain and Palin Long Life Life's Happiness and Hozro

There was an Indian VP - and he was a Republican.

I thought that this summer Obama went to the reservation in South Dakota, and after a speech filled with his soaring rhetoric, was made a member of the tribe. The elders gave him the name “Walking Eagle.” When asked later how they came up that name, the old Chief simply said “Walking Eagle, a bird so full of ****, he cannot fly.”

The left likes to use American Indians as a stick to beat up on America, and those aspects of their noble culture and history that cannot be put to that use are summarily ignored. When has anyone ever heard about this plank of the Iroquois Code of Handsome Lake:

"'Now another word. It is sad. It is the fourth word. It is the way Yondwi'nias swa'yas. [She cuts it off by abortion]

Now the Creator ordained that women should bear children.

Now a certain young married woman had children and suffered much. Now she is with child again and her mother wishing to prevent further sufferings designs to administer a medicine to cut off the child and to prevent forever other children from coming. So the mother makes the medicine and gives it. Now when she does this she forever cuts away her daughter's string of children. Now it is because of such things that the Creator is sad. He created life to live and he wishes such evils to cease. He wishes those who employ such medicines to cease such practices forevermore. Now they must stop when they hear this message. Go and tell your people.'"

I was looking and looking for that article. It was posted on FR. Yes, I remember the "Walking Eagle" name they gave him. So glad you brought it up!

All the comments so far are real and I agree 1000%.

However, the most important subject is the ad itself. This ad is one of the best ads that I have seen and reviles any ad during the Super Bowl. It is riveting, thought provoking, hard hitting and targeted to voters we don’t have now. (I don’t mean Americans of Native decent)

"Todd Palin and the Palin kids are part Native American (Eskimo),.."

They prefer to be correctly called Inuit in Alaska. They own houses and know how to build igloos on hunting or fishing vacations in the wilderness. Then put what they catch on their 4WDs to take back home.

How Native American can you get?
