Actually, he said later that a large piece of debris smacked him just under the knee. There’s a lot of stuff in that water.

I’ll always treasure those sequences of him telling us what he’d like to do to those Tallybans if only he could get a hold of a few. Posing in front of the tank and a few Northern Alliance warriors hired for the occasion to stand around and try not to laugh.

At least he wasn’t holding up that hand-held anometer at the time. That’s an expensive toy and the rescuers may have had to make the difficult moral choice of who or what to save.

As terrible as these hurricanes are, Geraldo makes me smile. I enjoy watching him year to year. Pray for him, he’s not as sure footed as in the past and I would hate for him to get hurt. My son does a “Geraldo in a hurricane” imitation, that is very funny.
I pray the Lord will protect everyone that is in the path of this monster.

Well I kind of look forward to that, hoping the wind will be strong enough to make him take flight, it would be such fun.
Geraldo is holding a live microphone and standing in a foot of water...then falls in it. Why is he still alive?
If I had the time, I’d edit this video with the audio of Geraldo screaming about the man in the water in NO during Gustav. That would be a kick.
