This report may be be breaking news of immense national political importance as a direct result of what the NEIN Blog has previously described as “The Palin Effect.”

According to a an exclusive source close to the Northeast Intelligence Network, the possibility exists for a major change to the Democrat presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Our source, citing other highly reliable sources, states that Senator Joe Biden will withdraw as the Democrat Vice-Presidential candidate, possibly due to some imminent medical emergency. These sources go on to state that negotiations have occured between Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to replace Senator Biden on the ticket with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

>>When I floated that idea HERE and made a suggestion to Team McCain, everyone and his uncle here assured me this could never, never happen.<<

Well, it’s always possible. Dems are pretty stupid.

But it would fail miserably. It’s one of those “screwed if you don’t, more screwed if you do” sort of things.

Does Barak want to wear a vest and have an aid taste his food for eight years? Stupid as he is, even Barak knows some things are worse than losing the presidency.

Is “Stand Up” Joe on the campaign trail today? Out in public? If not, this could be true.

There’s no way in hell Hillary wants on the ticket, though.

Not now, that it’s clear they’re going down.

Technically I don’t think it can be since the DEM Convention nominated the two, Obama/Biden, and that’s what on various State’s ballots.

That said ... it is the Dems and they pretty much do what ever they want, so a Obama/H. Clinton ticket is their over-ride they’ll do it. (Remember Howard Dean and the Primary fiasco’s of FL and MI).

But my money would be on Hillary returning to the Senate to wait for 2012 and kick Harry Reid to the curb to be assume the duties of and be coronated as the Majority Leader (or Minority Leader depending on the November elections).

it’s a losing proposition for her. If he wins, she’s stuck as VP for 4 to 8 years. If he loses, she’s a loser too.

Even before Palin I was thinking McCain by 8-10% nationally. Most people don't even start thinking politics 'til October, and it's easy to get caught up in paying attention to the talking heads...which is, after all, what they're there for.

I'd truly love to see Obama join McGovern and Mondale on the smouldering ash-heap of history. Of course, there'd be riots because America had proven itself a racist nation. It's not enough that Obama got the nomination...he's owed the Presidency.

I dunno. Obama’s just about done as it is. Dumping Biden and bringing Hillary onto the ticket just might work for the donks. In fact, it might be their ONLY chance to win. Don’t forget the American people’s increasingly short attention span. Obama does this, and in 3 weeks, people will say “Biden who?”

Actually, if she signed on and the ticket fails in a close one, she will benefit as the ONLY viable dem candidate in 2012. She is probably seriously considering it at this very moment. And feckless Barry’s visit to sinkEmperor’s lair in Harlem is a good indication that something is in the works.

C'mon, we can make it more Machiavellian than that. Biden talks with Obama and Hillary. Gets Obama's approval and Clinton's promise to stay low for a week as Biden resigns for health reasons. Clinton, as women are wont to do, decides that she does not want to run for VP but wishes Obama well in November. Ta da.

Obama sinks further and the Clintons urge all good Democrats to stick with the Party until its over. Obama loses every state, including Illinois - Clintons re-appear in '12 and Obama, Rev. Wright and others form the new Black Panther Party. Real conservatives learn a lesson and start to act properly. I really must stop drinking.

I'm certain that the obama team is discussing this and that this was the reason for the bubba-obama meeting yesterday.

If they do try this it had better be tonight or by Sunday at the latest. By next week everyone will have heard the rumors and the 'medical reasons' explanation won't fly.

Why would Hillary want to VP for 8 years? she wants to Pres. now.

All it would take is a short trip to Fort Marcy
