Charles Krauthammer, who originally coined the phrase The Bush Doctrine in 2001, thinks Charles Gibson doesnt know what it means, and argues that in what respect, Charlie? is a sensible response to an ambiguous question.

This has caused a lot of arguments today. I think Charlie should be slapped.

What Gibson needed to do was apologize for:
1. Mis-quoting Gov. Palin last night and then claiming he was not.
2. Asking a question about the Bush doctrine when he did not know what it was.
I do not bother with watching silly people like him so I don’t know if that is how he began the segment tonight? Did he?
The last paragraph is a classic. Krauthammer doesn’t think she’s experienced but he is absolutely sickened by the arrogance of the media in looking down at Palin.
...and this from a guy whose day job is wearing an apron during the cooking spot and making small talk about gadgets for the home.
I heard him say Sarah Palin was more experienced than Obama ON FOX,maybe he was talking about executive experience. I mean what has Obama done?
