Relax. :)

There is no panicking allowed about any house/senate races prior to October 1. :)

I thought that third party usually split the dems, no?

Numerous blue states shows McCain within 3. (WA, WI, MN, MI, NJ, PA)

We need to get over that hump.

Neither Kerry nor Gore had to contend with the Bradley effect.

If the more reputible pollsters have McCain within 2 of Obama he will win Minny.

How can Obama’s funds be drying up? His campaign is a money machine. He rakes in least $30 million a month.

MN hasn’t gone red since Nixon. This is the ONLY state Mondale won in ‘84.

Well then, this is good news. Hockey moms in Minnesota, I guess. :)

If Minnesota throws Norm Coleman out and elects that jerk Al Franken, then I will remain certain that theirs is the Lunatic State.

Ok, I’ve been holding out here, but I’m just about ready to concede that maybe, just maybe, McCain can do more than eke out a victory. He’s 3 down in WA; 1 up in MI; now 2 down in MN???? And all the trends are in his direction. So perhaps, just perhaps, he does stand to win a somewhat substantial victory.

The McCain List.

Just a two-point race in Minnesota. We CAN win this state!

And spends just as much. Rumor is that fundraising isn’t going very well. We don’t know for sure, but he’s got a LOT on his plate having to defend things that Kerry never had to. PLUS, he has to take time out to raise money. McCain doesn’t, because he’s on candidate welfare. :)

Coleman was about 4-5 points ahead. However, no way McCain carries MN and Coleman loses.

Yes 3rd parties do help the MN GOP. Tim Pawlenty won the Governorship both times while receiving under 46% due to 3rd parties.

Barkley is a libertarian/independent who splits the GOP vote.

He was the guy appointed by Ventura to temporarily fill the deceased Wellstone's seat until Coleman was elected.

If I could just see one poll with McCain ahead in CO, OH, and VA at the same time, I’d do the happy dance.

If only our party people weren’t such a bunch of feckless, limp wristed, conventional-wisdom-swallowing losers, we’d have better candidates running to help us make more congressional gains now that we’re even doing well in the generic polls.

I agree. It takes only a couple of points to lose. McCain needs to run an extremely affective campaign in these blue states to garnish at least a tide or a +1 to over take the black messiah. Which right now seems unlikely... SO CLOSE YET SO FAR....

Me too. But the trends are going our way and Obama is only digging the hole deeper.

Did you see the moonbat anti-Palin hunting ad that they’re playing in Ohio yet? lol...that’ll help matters too! lol
