Mo Dowd, Matt Damon Repeat NutRoots Lie About Palin
publiusforum.com ^ | 09/13/08 | Warner Todd Huston

As if we needed another reason to think that the excitable Maureen Dowd and the empty headed Matt Damon are... well, excitable and empty headed... we get the newest raindrop in their river of blather as proof that their "research" into a subject seems to consist of hearing an unsupported claim and deciding it represent gospel truth. Our latest proof is that they both seem to have been taken in by a nutrooter lie, a fake quote that claims Sarah Palin said, "dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago."

Both seem to have fallen for a parody of Governor Palin invented by a blogger who's post seems to have been taken literally. The following self-identified "fake Governor Sarah Palin Quote" was posted on August 30: "God made dinosaurs 4,000 years ago as ultimately flawed creatures, lizards of Satan really, so when they died and became petroleum products we, made in his perfect image, could use them in our pickup trucks, snow machines and fishing boats."

Damon's laughable little attempt at political analysis consisted of an interview he recently gave where he ripped into Governor Palin. He claimed he felt she was unqualified, yet then turned around one sentence later to say he knows nothing about her. Isn't that like claiming to be an expert on something then immediately admitting that you've never studied the subject? Near the end of the interview, Damon said. "I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago, that's an important… I wanna know that, I really do." ...

Didn’t matt damon say a few months ago he would not weigh in during this election because he hates when people comment on things they really know nothing about and come off sounding stupid.
Well you’re right matt—you know nothing and sound stupid!

ps — It has been 4 or 5 libs I’ve heard now using the “Jesus was a community organizer and pontius pilot a governor.”
My gosh...are they really so incredibly braindead?????

Interesting that Matt Damon’s litmus test for Pres/VP candidates consists of their belief in dinosaurs. So much for the enlightened liberal immage, huh?

“They just aren’t very smart.”

Actually in his private life Damon has apparently been a bit smarter. He married a divorced Argentine barmaid with a child, not a fellow Hollyweird star. Perhaps he actually looked at the real person, and not just her unglamorous background. Poor Matt’s political views are just standard Liberal brainwashing. Perhaps some day before he dies the light bulb will go on in Matt Damon’s head; and then again perhaps not.

The shear number of actors who never finished high school, much less any college is staggering. Add to that the numbers that profess never to read books.

Yet they persist in trying to tell the rest of us what to do.

“empty headed Matt Damon”

Redundant.

So many have fallen for style over substance. Very sad regarding the “thinkers” our schools are producing these days.

It’s not the politicians that’re important, it’s the policies.

I’m about to do a political site, and one of the points it will vehemently make is that it’s OK NOT to vote if you don’t have a clue. Let the adults make the important decisions.

They are intellectually dishonest and malevolent. They don’t care if the allegations are true or not. It is the ugliness of the charge that is important, they are trying to do to Palin what they have succeeded in doing to Dick Cheney and President Bush.

Damon's laughable little attempt at political analysis

Political analysis by a wooden headed marionette with a speech impediment! Though I will say that "Team America, World Police" was his best performance, ever.

“The shear number of actors who never finished high school, much less any college is staggering.”

Matt Damon is not in that category. To give credit where due, he was a straight-A student before college, and I believe had an excellent record at Harvard. His bio isn’t clear if he graduated, but at one point it says he left with only 12 credits to go for his degree.

So, his stupidity and ignorance are all the more disappointing.

The current thinking is that birds are the direct decedents of dinosaurs so in fact, dinosaurs are with us today.

I take pleasure in mentioning to them that the last "community organizer" that made news in the US was Jim Jones, in Guyana.

I want to know if Matt Damon thinks anybody really cares what he has to say. I really need to know that. Oh wait....I don’t care.

Ok what’s not smart? Having children and not an abortion

Matt how would you feel if your wife had thought your child was going to be a burden to her. Went and had it killed because it’s just not a good time for her.

Could you imagine your life without your childs love and yours for them?

Why does a woman who can think for herself instead of just saying liberal talking points is threatening.

Ok I get it Sarah Palin scares the bejezes out of you. Imagine a woman trying to argue with the Liberal ideology.

To think anything but liberal thoughts makes you a moron and crazy person.

I think there must be something in the bottled water out there in LoneyToons land LA.

How many celebs have come out and bashe PALIN? I lost count. They must grab you when you first get into the film business and send you to Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand for RE-Education 101.

How to say what we tell you and think anyone that argues is insane. Then call that lunacy freedom. if i’m ever out there I would drink only drinks I poured or came in can/bottle. Watch out...LOL

It seems pretty obvious to me the media/Dem plan. Each press will attack a different issue/view of Palin to destroy her. If you can’t eliminate her, destroy her character.
