As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin Cut Own Duties, Left Trail of Bad Blood (here we go again)
Washington Compost ^

WASILLA, Alaska -- On Sept. 24, 2001, Mayor Sarah Palin and the City Council held their first meeting after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The council condemned the attacks and approved a $5,000 gift to a disaster relief fund. Palin said she would try to obtain materials from both attack sites to include in the town's "Honor Garden."

And then the council and mayor returned to their normal business: approving funds to upgrade the public well, issuing a restaurant permit and taking up a measure forbidding residents from operating bed-and-breakfasts in their homes. After a lively debate, the bed-and-breakfast measure lost, 4 to 1.

Since joining the Republican ticket, Palin has faced questions about whether she is qualified to be vice president or, if necessary, president. In response, the first-term Alaska governor and Sen. John McCain point to the executive qualifications she acquired as Wasilla mayor, a six-year stint from 1996 to 2002 that represents the bulk of her political experience.

As opposed to Obama who has no experience.

They don’t like her because she’s conservative and because she’s not ivy league. The elistist scum think the ivory halls of power are reserved to the ivy league boneheads.

Like she says, she didn’t go along to get along. It only follows that she’d left a trial of bad blood.

Watched three episodes of “Tougher In Alaska” last night on On Demand, a Discovery Channel series, I guess.

We in the lower 48 have NO clue how tough it is just to get electricity, phone service, fuel and supplies to some parts of Alaska.

Gave me a new found respect for anyone who works in government there.

Meanwhile, Barry Obama was fantasizing about all the wonderful aspects of engaging in homosexual acts that he could tell kindergarteners if he only had the chance.

“The McCain campaign declined to respond to questions about Palin’s tenure as mayor, but the current mayor, Dianne Keller, said Palin’s tenure has prepared her to be vice president.

“Executive experience is executive experience. Whether you are a mayor or a governor or an executive at a company, the duties and responsibilities are the same,” said Keller, served on the City Council under Palin.”

At least they included this opinion somewhere in the article.

She also has an over 80% approval rating as governor.

A trail of blood is good. For anyone that has ever tracked a deer, it’s easier to find your wounded prey that way. And I can think of no other prey more ‘wounded’ by this ONE woman than the ‘Rats are right now!

Where’s Howard Dean these days? He sure is mum on this whole “Sarah-Thang.” *SMIRK*

The Obamamedia won't rest until they've interviewed every man, women, child, moose and sled dog in the other 20%.

Neither of these papers has sent even a solitary reporter to Chicago to ask about Rezcko or Ayers. Neither has questioned or investigated the lobbying activities of Joe Biden’s son. But they have enough resources to send multiple reporters North to Alaska to search for the bonanza gold that is any scandal, complaint, or hiccup involving Governor Palin. No agenda, nothing to see here, move along.

What the article says is different than implied by the headline. Just your average every day small town America mayor.

CNN is having a hit piece on Governor Palin right now. They’re interviewing people who don’t like her, naturally.
I couldn’t watch more than a few minutes. Obama said he is concentrating on McCain. He’s leaving the Governor to the media and his team of lawyers. They just keep piling on.

They’re hoping something will stick eventually. Notice how the majority of the pictues of Palin used on newspapers or website have her looking mean and nasty? Look again!
