That would be tantamount to a coup More accurately it would be insurrection and treason.
The only possible way to prevent Palin from being sworn in is to physically prevent Roberts and Palin from meeting. Such an action would be kidnapping and treason.
The only court orders possible to prevent a meeting must come from SCOTUS (pretty much impossible, remember the 2000 election decision), and they have no enforcement arm.
The executive (Palin) would control law enforcement and military, with the exception of the Congressional Police. A Pelosi order to have them interfere with executive or judicial branch persons would be illegal, insurrection and treason.
The DemoRats would have to bury their dead and merge with the Nazi party in their prison cells.

Willie’s comment plays to a stereotype: white folks eat mayonnaise, blacks don’t. So he’s emphasizing that Sarah is really, really white...

"Willies comment plays to a stereotype: white folks eat mayonnaise, blacks dont. So hes emphasizing that Sarah is really, really white..."Didn't Chris Rock make jokes about blacks and hot sauce?
Personally, I like to mix some Texas Pete's into my Hellmans (Best Foods for you left coasters).

Cameras are really small and easy to hide nowadays.

This last year has felt as if I'm living in a parallel universe. Now this! This election year just keeps getting stranger and stranger. I get the feeling that as slimy as Willie Brown was (and probably still is), he is still part of the “Old School” and loves America despite all of his political maneuvering over the years. You really hit the nail on the head about his being a “solo act” - Alcibades was a rank amateur compared to the original Slick Willie!
