SIR Paul McCartney has been threatened that he will be the target of suicide bombers unless he abandons plans to play his first concert in Israel.
Self-styled preacher of hate Omar Bakri claimed the former Beatles decision to take part in the Jewish states 60th anniversary celebrations had made him an enemy of all Muslims.
Sources said Sir Paul was shocked but refused to be intimidated.

The "Religion of Peace" is on the march. The brazen nature of this threat is particularly odious when taken in conjunction with the anniversary of September 11th and the recent servile fawning by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams. He has called for legitimizing sharia law in the U.K. Apparently, Williams' fecklessness has metastasized to reality in the British Courts. Sharia courts have been granted legitimacy in London, Birmingham, Bradford, Manchester, and Nuneaton. Two more are planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh. See today's Times article.

Alas, pray for Sir Paul and the U.K., and recall Theo Van Gogh, Daniel Pearl, and Nick Berg.

Why couldn’t they have done this before he wrote “Silly Love Songs”?

Britain is finished. It has been conquered by the muzz. If someone would have told me five years ago that Britain would be the first European nation to fall to the muzz I’d have said BS! So sad; so very, very sad.

Will Paulie listen to what the man said? Or will he remain a fool on the hill?

Three thousand on 9-11 and no one gets too worked up. But let them touch a hair of “Sir” Paul’s head, and watch out!

I've always like Paul McCartney, but he's pretty naive if he thinks that the Muzzies wouldn't take him or anyone in his family out. I'm glad to hear he plans to go ahead with his appearance. Backing out would only be a sign of weakness to the enemy.

I love that song! What's wrong with that? I'd like to know.
I can't believe this song came up twice this morning. Paul's press is much better than John's this fine day. Godspeed Paul. Have a great show!

I respected Paul McCartney right after September 11th happened and Bush went to war, Sir Paul stated very clearly that he felt the U.S. was within their rights. It stunned the press, who felt that he would take the “Give Peace A Chance” pose. My opinion of this Beatle went up a few notches after that.

"Freedom" was the song he wrote the day after sitting on the tarmac at JFK, watching 9/11 transpire and the towers come down...not his best (even with Clapton on lead), but the sentiment was very real. And he donated all the proceeds to the Robin Hood Foundation, which supported FDNY & NYPD.
This is my right, a right given by God
To live a free life, to live in freedom We talkin about freedom
Talkin bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom
Anyone, who wants to take it away
Will have to answer, cause this is my right
We talkin about freedom
Talkin bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom, ah yeah, come on now...
You talkin about freedom
Were talkin bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom
Everybody talkin bout freedom
Talkin bout freedom
I will fight, for the right
To live in freedom -- Paul McCartney
