Cindy Sheehan would be an interesting swap-out. A sitting Speaker of the House gets defeated in the bid for re-election.

The change would probably be good though. At least Pelosi understands the mechanisms in the House and Cindy doesnt. It would also show how clueless residents from San Fannycrisco are.

First, Cindy won’t be speaker of the house.
Second, Cindy and Ms. McKinney can start their own caucus. Just think what names might apply. The entertainment factor alone could be worth it.

I disagree with Cindy on just about everything, but she sticks to her principles. She is definately not a “politician”. She deserves some credit for that (not for anything else though).
She wouldn’t even have to become unhinged. Just opening her mouth with her socialist dogma would do it.
Of course, she’d be a junior rep, so getting the speaker’s post would never happen, but just having her in the House would be a gift that keeps giving.

No one else with her self destructive skills would have been elected speaker of the house. Cindy would just disappear in the house getting no coverage.

I could not vote for her. I want a representative who spends time in Washington. Sheehan would continue being a community organizer and spend most of her time picketing the Presidents residence.

Most of Pelosi’s supporters think she’s too conservative to their causes. Who better to fulfill all the extreme left’s wishes—Vote for Cindy! I’d like to see them come up with a Vote for Cindy T-shirt ala Napoleon Dynamite.
