Well, maybe it didn’t read right because the guy’s a lunatic. It seems to me, although it’s basically just speculation I admit, that the foreign writers for Pravda are more unhinged than the native Russians.
Also, look at waht RichardW said about him a couple of posts down. The guy’s a total nutball. Also, other posts here point out that he was a songwriter back in the 1980s. I wish he stayed a songwriter.

Else I’m mistaken, when he was tried at Nurnberg he tried as a defense that he had renounced his British Citizenship and therefore could not be found guilty for Treason.
The Brits, known for their keen sense of humor, hanged him anyway.
