OCEAN SPRINGS -- Over the hustle and bustle of New York City's Times Square, 8-year-old James Vogelmeier will giggle as a puppy named Marshmallow gives him kisses.

James is one of 200 children and adults living with Down syndrome featured on a video that will be shown Sept. 28 on the 40-foot screen on the north face of One Times Square, the building famous worldwide for the New Year's Eve ball drop.

The 40-minute video kicks off Down Syndrome Awareness Month and the 2008 Buddy Walk held in almost 300 communities nationwide. It promotes a message of acceptance and inclusion through a montage of photos that highlight each individual's abilities and personality.

Through his participation in NDSS when his family lived in Los Angeles, James has had several star sightings.

His photo album features pictures of him with Tori Spelling, Jennifer Love Hewitt, John C. McGinley and Jackie Chan.

Evidently democrats think all God’s children must be perfect or destroyed.

Eugenics is alive and well in their party.

I don’t like this map. What is the matter with Corinth, aren’t we good enough?

I am laughing a little, because I expect our liberal elites to either attempt to stop the display as a “coded” endorsement of the McCain/Palin ticket or grit their teeth and walk past it for a month in shame...
