"On this I agree with this reporter - it is a bad thing... The reporter just ID'd the wrong candidate..."

I also agree. They are so frustrated at their inability to tar Sarah Palin as some bigoted trashy Tanya Harding type. She's lovely, charming, capable...and she resonates with a lot of people. The rats can't seem to airbrush any of those attributes away.

Jesus was a radical, but not a community organizer.

Catherine McNicol Stock is chair of the history department at Connecticut College and author of "Rural Radicals: Righteous Rage in the American Grain"

I can tell right off the bat that this is going to be fair and balanced. The redneck hate is dripping off of her book title.

Demographics most basically define this geographic region. In the six states that make up the Pacific Northwest - Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska

I've lived in the PNW almost my entire life, and I've never heard Montana and Wyoming included as a part of it (and only rarely Alaska). She sounds like a real expert. She probably read about us once on the Internet while sipping on a $10 macchiato and furiously taking notes on her MacBook, safely separated from us racist bastards by a good 3000 miles.

Perhaps somewhere on the record, Palin has publicly condemned the radical politics of her region.

So now you have to apologize for the "politics of your region"? Not until the libs infesting SF start begging forgiveness first. Another way that I can tell that "she" is completely full of shit is that she would never say such an ignorant statement if she had ever been to Seattle, Portland, Eugene, etc. The arrogance of this so-called woman is hard to stomach. And they wonder why us rubes in the sticks think they are a bunch of elitist snobs.

But none so rough that anybody would want to huddle around the wood burning stove next to that!

Demographics most basically define this geographic region. In the six states that make up the Pacific Northwest - Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska - only six counties are more than 5 percent African American.

Might be a good time to let the good folks in Oregon and Washington know what the nutroots think of them. This needs wide disimination. Last I looked, Washington's competitive. Who knows? Maybe we can flip Oregon, too!

Great minds think a like!

Modesty prohibits me from accepting such a compliment.

But decorum prevents me from saying your wrong.

See post #42. She lives in a town that’s 94% white and 1.3% African American. By her own standards, she’s a racist!

As radical as Obama’s friends, Bill Ayers, “Father” Philger, and Reverend Wright?
