David Freddoso attempted to appear on Milt Rosenbergs WGN radio show last night, and just as when Stanley Kurtz tried to talk on the same show, the Barack Obama campaign organized a disruption of the show. The campaign sent out an e-mail to supporters in the area sliming Freddoso as an extreme hate monger, a smear merchant, and attempted to silence him despite Rosenberg having an Obama surrogate on the show:
Chicago radio station WGN-AM is again coming under attack from the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama for offering airtime to a controversial author. It is the second time in recent weeks the station has been the target of an Obama Action Wire alert to supporters of the Illinois Democrat.

Funny how the “liberal, free speech supporters” always manage to shout down and disrupt anyone with whom they disagree, claiming their own “free speech” is far more important than that of anyone else.
Isn’t it especially surprising that the so called “hateful right” doesn’t do this...

The Liberals would have us all live to Backwards World.
So did the show go on or not? We’re not told. Why doesn’t the host just kick the Obammy surrogate? Why does he have the surrogate on in the first place?
Sounds like WGN needs to grow a pair.
Did he “attempt” to appear or did he succeed in appearing?
The radio station could just refuse to take the calls, and let the two guests and Milt Rosenburg do the show.
Just a Rush does when he interviews someone. There are no calls taken during that time.
The left has ratcheted up this continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not militarily...yet.
I daresay, turnabout is fairplay. Why our side doesn’t do the same thing is beyond me. Quite honestly,
it isn’t as though they don’t cry “foul” every time the truth is printed about them, or anyone makes a legitmate attack on them anyway. Playing nice hasn’t gotten us very far, imo.
What is dishonest about the truth?

Not only does the Right do this, but I can name specific high profile Freepers who have openly championed such actions.
I've been involved in long and heated dicussions here on FR that employing such tactics by the Right, and by Freepers, is the wrong thing to do.
Show did air. Below is link to show podcast (mp3) page. See 9-16-08 for link.

Please name a few such events. I'd be willing to bet that when it happens, for the most part, the leaders of "the right" condemn such acts, while the leaders of "the left: don't, and that the ratio of such events is at least 5 to 1, to the left.

No time to listen, but the story, by saying the guy “attempted” to appear was disingenuous. Nobody stopped him from appearing.
