He’s talking about how he and his brothers were raised as sissies. I wonder if some of his old dresses could be made available on eBay. There was an older girl who lived across the street from my row house home in Philly. She was big for her age, too. Loved to pick on the younger boys. She was pushing and punching me about one day. I was at least three years younger than her—maybe nine or ten. All of a sudden I literally saw red. The next thing I knew I was being pulling me off her by a couple of adults. This all happened right in the middle of the street. She had a split lip and a bloody nose. Of course, she was crying her little heart out. Upshot: She never bothered me again. A bully is a bully.
