CASTLEWOOD — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s running mate, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, will attend Saturday’s annual fish fry staged on behalf of union coal miners and their families in Castlewood, according to longtime United Mine Workers of America spokesman Sam Church.

Has me kinds scratching my head. I have never seen this much attention paid to SW VA.

Barry O and his campaign have made it abundantly clear and living in coal country the message has gotten across. Hey you mine workers, oil rig workers and other heavy industry guys, you polluters and racists the US would be better off with you. That message has stuck. Why isn’t Barry down in SW Virginia with those square toed shoes and that navy sport coat slung over his shoulder. Besides the sneers and whispers of the ‘N’ word he just wouldn’t be fishing for votes in a very stocked pond there. So he sends down Biden.. Scranton Pa, blah, blah... He sounds like the annoying town life insurance salesman with that contrived pitch. Barry, you ain’t winning Virginia, better off in Iowa where the welfare state is alive and well in the ethanol belt.

Is Biden the old stinky fish, wrapped in paper, that Barry likes to talk about?
