While not an outright endorsement, Bills comments on Sarah Palin are far more respectable than what weve seen from the MSM and the Obama campaign:
Mr Clinton, acclaimed even by his enemies as one of the most consummate American politicians in recent history, said he did not agree with Republican vice presidential pick Mrs Palin on politics, but warned fellow Democrats not to underestimate her.
Shes an instinctively effective candidate and with a compelling story, Mr Clinton said in an interview with CNBC.
I think it was exciting to some that she was a woman, said Mr Clinton.
I think she, I get why shes done so well. Its a mistake to underestimate her. Shes got good intuitive skills. Theyre significant.
Mr Clinton said he thought Republican presidential candidate John McCain, a Vietnam war hero and veteran lawmaker, was a great man and that the election on November 4 would be close, but he predicted Democrat Barack Obama would emerge triumphant.
Heh-heh. “Campaigning for Palin”? If that means hoping to get her into bed, then yeah, horndog Bill is “Campaigning for Palin”!
He’s just playing nice in hopes of having a chance with her.
***Mr Clinton said he thought Republican presidential candidate John McCain, a Vietnam war hero and veteran lawmaker, was a great man***
HE (John MaCain) was a prisoner of War in Hanoi while YOU, Bill, was climbing trees butt naked down on Dickson street in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He praises both “Sarah” and McC - then, noticeably, does NOT endorse obambi - just predicts he'll win.
So - Do the Klintons think that they might stand a better chance of winning back the WH in 4 years if they aren't up against a, by then, firmly entrenched Chicago Machine in DC? Well, actually, they know it would be 8 years before they'd have a chance of any dem leader support for a run.
So are they tacitly giving a signal to the lady klinton supporters to vote for our ticket?
Sorry, Bill — no matter how charming you are to her, she takes her marriage vows a lot more seriously than you do.
...or so-called Republican Senator Chuck Hagel.
Scenario 1: Obama wins and is a generally successful and popular President. He cruises to easy renomination in 2012.Obviously, Scenario 4 is Hillary's last best hope.
Scenario 1a: Obama wins reelection. His endorsement will strongly influence the outcome of the 2016 primaries -- and fat chance of it going to Hillary.
Scenario 1a: Obama fails to win reelection despite his popularity. Hillary might have a chance in 2016, but by then her political machine will be greatly weakened compared to the new post-Obama establishment.
Scenario 2: Obama wins and is a miserable failure as President. Hillary has a shot of wresting the nomination away from him in 2012, but it's a long shot (even Jimmy freakin' Carter won renomination despite Ted Kennedy's challenge), and even if she does the unpopular incumbent will be an albatross around the party's neck in the general election (again, Obama would have to be an even worse fiasco than Jimmy Carter to not get renominated).
Scenario 3: Obama dies in office. As above, replacing his name with Biden's.
Scenario 4: Obama loses this election. Hillary comes back in 2012 with the "I Told You So" card.
I'll campaign for you, Sarah... Let's meet for drinks.
Dogs and cats sleeping together!!
Seriously, when it comes to Bill the "Lech/Rapist" I don't think he has any honorable intentions, even if I believed this were true.
And, I don't!!
I would like to relax and smoke a cigar with you someday.
William Jefferson Clinton
I was going to say that if bill clinton hit on Sara Palin most likely Mr. Palin, a real man not a usual D.C. girlie man,
would most likely kick bills ass.
But then I thought it’s Saracuda we’re talking of here. She’d probably kick bills ass herself.
