Thanks for this reminder, my FRiend. I’ve been saying stuff like this for years. There’s plenty of substantive differences between our side and theirs.

Thanks!

We need to keep up the idea that we are the sane one. Not living under tin-foil hats and yelling “I am afronted!” at every turn.

My point is (with or without my hat) is that ordinary folks will see her face on an attack ad and see it as an attack on Gianna BY WAY of McCain.

But attacking people like Gianna is what gets the attention to the ad itself. It's beneath contempt to put her face any where near that ad.

All of that notwithstanding, this bodes well for our side because people will make the connection.

Than let’s start where it is warranted instead of where it isn’t.

So the pattern we are going to see until election day, is that McCain and other groups will air truthful ads regarding Obama’s sordid past, and Obama’s only responses will be “Lies!” or “Racism!”

And the msm will take Obama’s word for it and repeat the mantra..”Lies!” “racism!” - without ever acknowledging the truth.

This is like the difference in definitions of the term “swiftboating”

To a liberal, “swiftboating” is telling lies about someone.
To a conservative - it is telling the truth.

Fox News has been "fair and balanced". There was an immigration ad (in Spanish) by both Obama and McCain that had lies in it. I know Obama will continue to deal in half truths until election day. But I hope McCain will take the high road and not resort to lies in his ads (anymore).

Fox News called it out for what it was.

I wish that Fox News, though would make an issue of the Gianna Jessen/Jill Stanek Ad (BornAliveTruth.org).

Fox News regularly has the top 4 rated shows on Cable: Fox Report, O'Reilly, Hanity and Colmes, and Greta's show "On the Record".

Matt Drudge recent numbers for the Fox programs beat almost any other competing program by about 1 million viewers.

Hardball was the one that was dead last...

But that was recent shows with Sarah Palin on Hanity...

Bottom line: there is hope...
