Obama served on this council alongside Ayers’s father, Thomas, and his brother, John, in 2001 and 2002, according to the Fund’s annual reports. Obama has neither the guts nor the credibility to lead a Maoist revolution.

If this is his goal, he grossly underestimates the American people's intelligence and patriotism.

Maoism advocates that the "peasants" in the countryside to "rise up" against the elitists in the cities. These tactics will never work for Obama.

• Obama's people are the elitists in the cities. He has alienated the people in the "countryside."
• Obama is not militaristic. He hates the military. He would be the worst kind of leader. Who would follow him?
• Obama does not have the charisma to get people to sacrifice their all for him.
• The American people are not that stupid. They won't fall for it.

If Ayres has chosen Obama to be his "front man" in a Maoist style revolution, Ayres has indeed chosen poorly.

There is some interesting material in this, but it needs a real solid editing job to make it credible. It has the air of one of those leftist college pamphlets claiming that the President employs dead Nazis concentration camp commandants.

I can't believe it took 33 posts for someone to note this. The left couldn't have handier tool for dismissing legitimate questions about legitimate facts if they tried. Which is exactly what this looks like to me.
